Select portfolio companies profiles follow.
Austin EastCiders
We use antique cider apple varieties, high in tannins and acids, to produce flavors that have not been widely experienced in America since Prohibition. These are the apples from which hard cider was traditionally made. During Prohibition many cider apple orchards were destroyed, meaning cider has since been made with eating apples. We use real cider apples, we use the wild yeasts in the apples for a natural fermentation and we add nothing which isn’t present naturally in the fruit, no concentrate, no colorings and no artificial sweeteners.
World Peas
World Peas are natural GMO-free green peas flavored with all natural ingredients (no artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners). They’re not your average “wasabi pea” – they’re available in 7 unique and delicious flavors. They’re great for snacking as they are trans fat and cholesterol free, and rich in protein. World Peas are lower in fat and calories than average potato chip (1 serving is only 105 calories and 2g fat).
World Peas are not just for snacking. You can also use them in salads and soups or crush them up for a flavorful topping. Let us know your favorite use for World Peas!

Criquet
As children, Billy Nachman and Hobson Brown began their lifelong journey to find the perfect shirt. Over the years, the two sampled polos of all shapes and sizes: baggy, fitted, emblem/no emblem, collar up, even a brief flirtation with the cringe-worthy double-layered. Throughout this odyssey, there were some constants- perfectly worn hand-me-downs and thrift store treasures. There were the golf shirts Billy’s grandfather wore in the 70s; a great polo Hobson picked up on vacation that cannot be found anywhere since in the continental United States. Tapping Billy’s architecture background and Hobson’s creative wizardry, the pair set off to design a vintage-inspired shirt, combining old-school preppy with a splash of hipster that would put an end to their ongoing search, while also aligning with a more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Raven + Lily

Every product from Raven + Lily is handmade, fair trade and eco-friendly.
Verb
Verb was born at Birds Barbershop, the award-winning salons that look and feel nothing like typical salons in Texas’ capital city. Affordable, professional-quality unisex haircuts was what Birds did best, but nobody wanted the expensive hair product on the shelves. Customers still wanted to look good – they just didn’t want to pay as much as their haircut to do so. We went looking for something that cost less, but maintained quality. A product focused on quality over frills, like Birds was. They never found one and created Verb, with everything in the line retail priced at $12. The right price – the honest price for everything you want, and all you don’t.
Dude Wipes
Dude Products, Inc. was originally founded by a long time group of Dudes in Chicago, IL. Together we decided to change the way guys go to the bathroom and engineered our first product, The Award Winning Dude Wipes®. A blunt, entertaining and complement to toilet paper.
Primizie Snacks – The basis for our crispbreads was discovered in Italy while traveling on a culinary tour through the country. The bread recipe was re-developed and became the cornerstone to our menus for Neapolitan pizzas, paninis and antipasto platters. We then discovered that when these breads were “crisped” they served as an even better vehicle for passed hors d’ Oeuvres, as bruschetta for antipasti and had superior “dipability” characteristics for cheeses and hearty dips. Primizie Crispbreads became an instant favorite to all we served.
