Phoenix, Arizona, February 06, 2013 – The Arizona Elk Society announced that it will be hosting their 12th Annual Banquet on March 23, 2013 at the Mesa Convention Center. Doors open at 4pm and banquet begins at 5pm.

The money raised at the Banquet will fund wildlife habitat restoration and improvements across the State of Arizona for the benefit of Elk and other wildlife.

This year the Arizona Elk Society is proud to auction two (2) of the Special Commissioners Big Game Tags. These include the Commissioners Elk Tag and Commissioners Buffalo Tag. The season for these tags runs from Aug. 15, 2012, through Aug. 14, 2013.

For information on open hunting areas please visit the AZGFD website. When Arizona residents buy one of these tags, it provides a great opportunity to help out Arizona’s Wildlife Management and possibly harvest a great animal. All proceeds from the sale of the Commissioners Big Game tags will directly help on the ground projects to benefit these species.

Along with the Commissioner Tags there are some great Big Game Hunts, loads of firearms, hunting trips and auction items rolling in.

This year we have a Special Elk Tag for the Hualapai Indian Reservation. See our website for information on this tag. The winning bidder will be the only person hunting Big Bull Elk during this hunt.

Please visit www.arizonaelksociety.org to purchase tickets to the AES Banquet and for more information on the Commissioner Tags and other events. You can make a donation to the AES on our website, as well.
