The campaign consisted of promoting the importance of getting cancer screenings, and distributing cancer awareness materials. Such items included car decals, pens, and hats. All the collected funds were donated to the Wings Cancer Foundation.

The MADC is very involved in helping the community, and regularly hosts and/or sponsors fundraising activities for local charities and non-profit organizations in the region.

Future Electronics President Robert Miller Congratulates MADC for Heart Foundation Fundraiser

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) March 3, 2016 – Robert Miller, President of Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, recognized the company’s Memphis Area Distribution Center (MADC) team for its efforts in promoting healthy heart awareness and raising money to benefit the American Heart Foundation of Memphis.

The American Heart Awareness campaign consists of promoting heart awareness materials and stressing the importance of getting appropriate health screenings. Employees participated in the event by donating red, silver or gold hearts to support the American Heart Fundraiser. The donated hearts were displayed on an “awareness board” in memory or in honor of family members and friends of employees who have been diagnosed with heart problems.

All donations were donated to the local American Heart Foundation of Memphis. The fundraiser is held annually during the month of February, which is American Heart Month.

The MADC holds a variety of fundraising events on an ongoing basis. Future Electronics‘ team members say they are inspired by the company’s President, Robert Miller, who supports a variety of philanthropic endeavors, and encourages his employees to be involved in their local communities and help make the world a better place.

Output Factory for InDesign Improves Flash SWF and PostScript Export

Zevrix Solutions announces Output Factory 1.5.44, a maintenance update to its output automation solution for Adobe InDesign. Output Factory automates printing, exporting, preflighting and file delivery from InDesign. The software offers an array of time saving options such as batch processing, export as single pages, variable file names, layer versioning, PDF preflight, FTP delivery and more. The new version improves the reliability of InDesign file conversion to PostScript and Flash SWF formats.

Toronto (ON), Canada (February 20, 2016) — Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 1.5.44, a maintenance update to its solution to automate printing, exporting and preflighting from Adobe InDesign. Output Factory lets printers, ad agencies and publishing houses worldwide automate and simplify their output workflow and easily repurpose InDesign files for the web and mobile devices.

The new version addresses an issue in which a non-proportional page scale in output settings wasn’t honored when saving InDesign documents as PostScript files on some systems. President Robert Miller congratulates Future Electronics’ Toastmasters on their 350th Meeting

To celebrate this Future First Toastmasters’ milestone, the group welcomed Area Governor, Malcolm Mazumdar, and enjoyed refreshments after the meeting, including a beautiful 350^th anniversary cake provided by Future Electronics.

Robert Miller, President of Future Electronics, congratulates the Future First Toastmasters members for their participation and the long term success of the group.

Other recent highlights include the induction ceremony of 11 new members who joined over the past year, and the group’s annual holiday dinner which was held in December at Porte Grecque.
