Clariti Shows Power of “Connected” Team Communication

Links email, chat, call, to-do, files… by context to delivery clarity.

Fort Lee, NJ – USA | November 17, 2021 — CCE Technologies, Inc., a technology startup based in Fort Lee, New Jersey, announced the latest upgrade of Clariti (www.clariti.app) where users can leverage the power of “connected” context-based team communication for significant productivity gains.

Users can use Clariti as an all-in-one platform for team communication. Besides obvious productivity gains resulting from not having to switch between disparate apps at work, Clariti users can use email, chat, call, to-do… together, linked by context to deliver clarity in their team communication.

“While productivity gains from bringing all communication apps in one platform is undeniable, that’s simply not enough. If information exists in silos within that one app, trying to search for information or make informed decisions is almost impossible. With Clariti, we have tried to create an all-in-one platform that not only allows users to use a single platform for all their team communication but goes a step further and having each of these work in concert to create a coherent history of your work. So, when you need the who said what, why and when answers, the information is on your fingertips and you can make smart decisions,” said Vinay Wagle, V.P. Sales & Marketing at CCE Technologies, Inc.

Clariti has some unique features that demonstrate how bringing communication “together” and linking them by context, delivers clarity.

1. Chat from Email: Clariti allows users to chat directly from an email and helps break the cycle of replies and forwards to get everyone in the loop.

* Chat participants see reference email instantly without actually forwarding the email

* Discussions and decisions move quickly – Participants stay focused & make effective contributions

2. To-Do from Chat: Clariti users can create to-dos and calendar events directly from a chat or an email. As a result, To-Do’s are always linked to the work.

* Create a To-Do from the chat in one step – No need for a separate To-Do app
* Know the context immediately – No need to stress recalling when your task pops up
* Work confidently – Knowing you haven’t forgotten anything

3. Call from Chat: Clariti users can move seamlessly between calls and chats for richer team discussions.

* Resolve issues quickly – Talk instead of typing long messages
* Provide context easily – Chat messages tell the story
* Work efficiently – Richer discussions with screen-sharing

Taking Higher Education to Higher Heights

Top national colleges enrolling in Aquiline Drones’ online drone pilot certification course.

Hartford, CT – USA | October 29th, 2021 — College students and adult learners seeking to engage in a high-tech, hands-on, upwardly mobile field of study, now have a unique educational opportunity offered by community colleges across the nation in partnership with Aquiline Drones. Specifically, the American drone manufacturer and technology company has developed a comprehensive online drone pilot certification course that primes students of all ages to become drone service providers and business owners.

In Connecticut alone, more than half of the state’s community colleges have adopted the exciting curriculum, including Capital Community College in Hartford, Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, and Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson with many other schools soon to take flight.

“We are proud to begin this new alliance with Aquiline Drones, our neighbor in the same city,” said Capital Community College’s CEO Dr. G. Duncan Harris. “Capital is committed to providing our students with opportunities in up-and-coming, high-growth industries and this course gives them an exciting opportunity to take their education to new heights.”

Students are required to enroll in two specific classes to earn their commercial drone operator certificate: “Introduction to Commercial Drones” and “Cloud Connected Drone Operations”.

Since the instruction is entirely online, students can work at their own pace. Each course takes approximately four months to complete. Scholarships may be available for qualified students.

For program highlights, visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMpMdKKRPkY&t=53s

“Due to the growing demand of drone use cases nationwide, we’re excited to deliver this exceptional technology to our college students now so that they are better prepared for the transportation means of the future,” said Diane Bordonaro, Chief Regional Workforce Development Officer for the Capital-East region of the CT State Community College system.

“It is my goal to institute Aquiline Drones’ ambitious curriculum into every Connecticut state college by the start of the 2022/23 school year.”

Graduates of the drone certification program will have a deep understanding of how to navigate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and the necessary training to obtain the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot license. Most importantly, these courses arm them with solid entrepreneurial skills that allow them access to a field of countless industries currently serviced by drones, including real estate, construction, farming, public safety, oil and gas and energy and utilities among others. Further, the program helps teach participants how to establish and operate their own commercial drone business.

“Not only are we offering an exciting high-tech journey with these compelling new courses, but we are also priming students to enter a rapidly accelerating industry now growing at a 13.8% rate annually with a potential market of $127 billion. We are creating limitless job opportunities in this rapidly growing space!” said Barry Alexander, Founder and CEO of Aquiline Drones.

Colleges and universities interested in adopting Aquiline Drones online courses into their curriculum can send an email inquiry to: info@aquilinedrones.com.

Clariti Redefines Online Discussions for Teams

Connects data on the same topic, from disparate apps, into discussions.

Fort Lee, NJ – USA | October 27th, 2021 — CCE Technologies, Inc., a technology startup based in Fort Lee, New Jersey, announced a unique way for teams to organize their work automatically by improving on a familiar concept of online discussions and extending that idea to connect disparate communication items, related to the same topic, into discussions and grouping related discussions into folders.

Based on their own experiences working with multiple apps, the team at Clariti quickly realized that searching for information stored in disparate apps is time consuming, cumbersome and stressful. Most people resort to relying on their memory to recall who said what, when, where and why. Other companies have attempted, albeit unsuccessfully, different ways to address this problem of information silos.

“Various attempts have been made to solve the problem of app silos by bringing all the different internal communication tools to one place. For example, in a product called Shift you can bring all the apps that you work with and access them from a single dashboard. While this makes it easy to access the apps, the information created by each app is still stored within that app creating information silos. Products like Slack allow bringing emails to a Slack chat channel so participants can discuss the email. However, they still need to go back to the email app to reply. So, the discussion in the Slack channel is still disconnected from the email reply, once again creating information silos. It was clear to us that it is not only important to bring all the apps to one place, but also equally important that the app data be connected so it does not reside in app silos,” said Vinay Wagle, V.P. Sales & Marketing at CCE Technologies, Inc.

To address the problem with information silos, the team at Clariti (www.clariti.app) introduced a holistic approach to connected communications by automatically connecting related information across all apps in discussions, so teams are always working in context. Clariti connects emails, team calls and chats, calendar events, to-do’s and files on the same topic into discussions. Clariti’s machine-learning technology then organizes related discussions into TopicFolders. That way, everything pertaining to a specific topic is easily accessible, without wasting time in searching across multiple, disparate apps.

“Visualize this. An email arrives in Clariti and you can start a chat with your colleagues from the same app. The chat recipients immediately understand the context of the chat as they can see the referenced email right next to the chat. This creates a discussion and the email and chat are inextricably connected from this point forward. As the discussion continues, some of the chat participants may no longer be needed and you can add or remove participants as needed. At the end of the discussion a To Do alert is added to the discussion. When the alert pops up later, all you have to do is scroll up the discussion and see everything that was said by whom and why. When related information is connected in this manner, there is no need to search, no stress and you become much more productive as you can maintain focus on the next actions,” added Vinay.

Clariti is packed with features to drive effective communications seamlessly with people within the company and outside. Some of the key features of Clariti includes:

* Easy organizing using Discussions and TopicFolders

* Full-featured email client

* One-on-one & group chats with people in your team

* Chat with people outside your team using OrbitChat

* Direct & Conference calling and screen-sharing

* Calendar for To-dos/Events

* Built-in document storage

* Cloud storage integration

* Chat directly from an email – no need to forward emails

* Create to-do from email or chat to preserve context

Clariti has received rave reviews from industry analysts and been featured in several leading publications including Futurism, Entrepreneur, Computer World, VentureBeat, PCWorld, BoingBoing and Black Enterprise among others.

EnSuite-Cloud ReVue Enhanced to Support 2D Drawing Data

CCE answers users’ clarion call for CATIA V5 drawing data support.

Farmington Hills, MI – USA | October 27th, 2021 — CCE, a leading provider of advanced CAD interoperability solutions, announced a significant enhancement of its flagship Real-time Collaboration and Design Review Software, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue, by now allowing users to share 2D Drawing data in addition to 3D CAD support available since its launch.

Since its very successful launch earlier in the year, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue is being used extensively for sharing 3D CAD data for engineering design reviews. With this recent update, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue now supports CATIA V5 2D Drawing viewables in direct response to users clamoring for support of CATDRAWING data for the past several months.

“We have always had customers drive our product roadmap. When we set out to create this product, our focus was 3D data. But clearly there is significant interest for collaboration using 2D data as expressed by our user base. Even among 2D users, demand for CATIA V5 drawing data was clearly the highest. This update for support of CATDRAWING data is in direct response to the requests we have been receiving from our users. In the next few months, we will add 2D support for other formats like SOLIDWORKS and NX,” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s V.P. Sales and Marketing.

EnSuite-Cloud ReVue supports latest versions all the major CAD formats, including CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3DXML), NX, SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge among others. Besides allowing users to collaborate using 2D and 3D CAD data, users can also share engineering documentation via screen-share thanks to its multi-document support in the same collaboration session.

“Given our exclusive focus on engineering design collaboration, we always keep our product updated with support for the latest CAD formats and versions. So even though products like Zoom are suitable for simple collaboration using documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, for engineering design reviews using a mix of complex 2D/3D CAD data with the added ability to screens-share supporting engineering documents, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue is the natural tool of choice,” added Vinay.

Some of the key benefits of using EnSuite-Cloud ReVue for engineering design reviews over typical screen-sharing apps like Zoom include:

* No software installation or browser extensions required

* Integrated conference call facility

* Real-time collaboration using 2D and 3D multi-CAD data. No CAD licenses required!

* Support for multiple documents in the same collaboration session

* Screen-sharing option for non-CAD documents for richer collaboration

* High-quality 3D rendering with zero loss of fidelity of viewable data

* Natural collaboration experience without any overhead for data or session preparation

* Independent control of collaboration session without compromising intellectual property

* Ultra-low latency allowing for excellent response/refresh rates

* Low bandwidth usage allowing for easy sharing of large 3D CAD models

Since its general availability earlier this year, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue has received rave reviews from leading industry analysts in publications like Lifecycle Insights, Engineering.com, MCADCafe, Digital Engineering among others.

EnSuite-Cloud ReVue can be used for conducting engineering design reviews directly in the browser or access it from an active CAD session using ReVue LiveLink. ReVue LiveLink is available for major formats like SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Solid Edge, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit among others and is particularly useful for design reviews (conceptual design or engineering changes) where the CAD model needs to be edited and the results updated in real-time with participants in the collaboration session.

All new users can get a 15-day free trial for an Organizer license to evaluate the product. Users can visit the EnSuite-Cloud ReVue page for additional product and pricing information or to start their 15-day free trial.

Axle.ai Launches Connectr 2021 Software for Windows, Mac and Linux

New Windows version of NoCode workflow tool significantly broadens market.

Boston, MA – USA | October 26th, 2021 — Axle.ai, the leader in bringing radical simplicity to video search and collaboration, announced availability of Connectr 2021, its revolutionary NoCode software for automating media workflows, for Windows, MacOS and Linux. The company is a Silver sponsor at the Adobe MAX virtual conference, which starts today.

(Caption: Axle.ai is exhibiting at Adobe MAX, a free virtual conference October 26-28)

Connectr 2021 is available for all 3 platforms and is shipping immediately. Pricing starts at $3,895 for a MacOS version supporting up to 4 concurrent workflows, with one day of professional services for workflow design included. In addition to the all-new Windows support, the new version of Connectr adds greater capability and simplified operation, such as multi-button selection menus and progress bars.

Dave Seedall, VP of Technology of Revolt TV was able to replace a complex media management and workflow solution from a European vendor originally costing more than $200,000, with a simple, affordable Connectr 2021 solution costing less than $10,000. During the transition the COVID-19 pandemic forced a significant shift to offsite, virtual operations for Revolt. That shift was facilitated by the automated workflows powered by Connectr, as well as axle ai’s browser-based media management application.

“We’ve been really impressed with how robust and flexible Connectr is, and are already looking forward to taking further advantage of its open systems benefits and almost limitless connectivity,” Seedall added. Other prominent examples of Connectr users include Spanish telecom integrator Telefonica and leading Italian broadcaster MediaSet.

(Caption: The connectr.ai 2020 application lets users build powerful workflows)

The NoCode Trend Comes To The Video Industry

“We want to give users the ability to set up their own powerful media workflows, on all the major computing platforms” said Sam Bogoch, axle ai’s CEO. “Our industry has lacked a truly open, cross-platform workflow tool priced affordably enough to achieve broad adoption.” Until now, media producers have had to either hire programmers to write custom code, buy more expensive and proprietary solutions tied to a specific application such as Telestream’s Vantage (transcoding) or IBM’s Aspera Orchestrator (file transfer), or, very often, do without. “With Connectr 2021, axle ai is putting a powerful workflow solution into the market at an affordable price, and opening it up to resellers and integrators as well as end users. It’s also offered to OEM partners who may license and relabel under their own brands,” Bogoch said.

The video industry has hundreds of highly capable specialist vendors and a handful of larger companies with broad product lines. Typically, integrating an automated workflow involving two or more of these vendors is beyond reach for most customers, blocking access to greater efficiencies across the entire media creation process. Connectr 2021 breaks this deadlock, allowing multi-way connectivity and integration to propagate over time, well beyond the footprint of single-vendor solutions.

Visual Front End

The Connectr 2021 software includes a graphical front end, Connectr Designer, which makes constructing workflows a simple drag-and-drop process. Software and hardware vendors, integrators and other technically proficient customers are able to create their own modules to plug into Connectr 2021, becoming part of a large and rapidly growing workflow ecosystem. Modules can either be shared for free on open source code repositories, or compiled and sold commercially by vendors. This cross-vendor ecosystem supports a wide range of interfaces, from REST APIs to Java code and command lines. It also supports notifications via either email or SMS messaging.

Connectr 2021 works seamlessly with Axle.ai 2021, the company’s flagship remote work solution for video teams. Integrations for the combined platform include panels for Adobe® Premiere® Pro, After Effects®, Photoshop®, Illustrator® and InDesign®, where assets can be searched, selected and imported into each of the host Creative Cloud® applications on Mac or Windows.

“More than ever before, creative teams are collaborating from remote locations and need powerful media workflows,” said Sue Skidmore, head of partner relations for Adobe video. “Creative Cloud users appreciate seamless solutions such as those from axle.ai that make it easy to tap into assets, regardless of location.”

Agua Technology Launches the First Interactive Radio Ads for Automobile Infotainment Systems

Agua Tech Revolutionizes Crypto Space by Compensating Consumers with Tokens That They Can Use to Make Purchases from Their Vehicle.

San Francisco, CA – USA | October 01, 2021 — Agua Technology, LLC is an innovative, experienced company re-envisioning how entertainers and retail companies reach consumers with interactive radio ads through a smart car ecosystem. For the first time in history, business owners, merchants, recording artists, entertainers and more, will be able to immediately sell products, music, and services directly to consumers behind the wheel. Agua is the only platform that allows radio listeners to purchase the product being advertised right from their in-vehicle infotainment system.

WATCH HERE: DEMO VIDEO

Radio listeners can purchase, and also be rewarded with, “Wahwah” (WAH) crypto tokens that they can then use to purchase the products or music that they hear through their vehicle’s entertainment system. Clariti Sees Increased Adoption Among Google Workspace Users

Google Workspace users worldwide adopt Clariti “TopicFolders” as a Work Hub.

Fort Lee, NJ – USA | September 20, 2021 — CCE Technologies, Inc., a technology startup based in Fort Lee, New Jersey, announced that since its introduction of TopicFolders earlier this year, it has been seeing continuing interest and increased adoption from Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) users who continue to adopt Clariti’s TopicFolders as their Work Hub.

Clariti’s (www.clariti.app) TopicFolders provide users the ability to seamlessly integrate team chatting and calling with individual email and calendar and organize everything by topic. This has proved to be very useful for small businesses particularly as they are beneficiaries of significant productivity gains because of this unique way of organizing their team’s work in one app, by topic.

“It is no secret that a lot of small businesses and startups naturally gravitate towards Google Workspace, formerly G Suite, for their communication needs. However, it has its limitations. Although it has all the building blocks required for communication, it is not designed to work in concert. That leads to a bunch of disconnected discussions, often times on the same topic, spread across their email, chat, call…apps. Retrieving information in this disconnected ecosystem is a major productivity drain, something that small businesses and startups can hardly afford. The way we have been seeing continued interest from Google Workspace users to our TopicFolder messaging proves that this was a void in the marketplace that Clariti has been successful in filling,” said Vinay Wagle, V.P. Sales & Marketing at CCE Technologies, Inc.

Since securing funding late last year, Clariti has been singularly focused on increasing personal and team productivity, especially in small businesses and startups. It was quick to separate itself from other chat-focused apps like Slack and Teams and present a viable alternative that doesn’t force users to give up emails and yet not hamper productivity.

“TopicFolder seamlessly organizes communication from any source and allows users to naturally go from sharing an email from a customer with an accompanying chat with a colleague, to sharing a document with the whole team and gathering their feedback before responding to the customer. Clariti captures the relationships between these disparate communications and automatically stores them in uniquely named TopicFolders to significantly drive productivity. There is no wasted time searching, and no need to change the way you work. Simply process emails, chats, and documents like you always do and voila, they are all organized,” added Vinay.

Clariti is packed with features to drive effective communications seamlessly with people within the company and outside. Some of the key features of Clariti includes:

* Easy organizing using TopicFolders
* Full-featured email client
* One-on-one & group chats with people in your team
* Chat with people outside your team using OrbitChat
* Direct & Conference calling and screen-sharing
* Calendar for To-dos/Events
* Built-in document storage
* Cloud Storage integration
* Chat directly from an email – no need to forward emails
* Create to-do from email or chat to preserve context

Clariti is securely hosted on Amazon Web Services, providing total reliability, 100% uptime and trusted security. It uses 256-bit SHA encryption for both data and communications.

Clariti has received rave reviews from industry analysts and been featured in several leading publications including Futurism, Entrepreneur, Computer World, VentureBeat, PCWorld, BoingBoing and Black Enterprise among others.

CCE’s EnSuite-Cloud ReVue is the Perfect Alternative to Zoom for Engineering Design Reviews

EnSuite-Cloud leapfrogs Zoom as the ideal solution for engineering collaboration.

Farmington Hills, MI – USA | September 20, 2021 — CCE, a leading provider of advanced CAD interoperability technology, announced major updates to its flagship real-time 3D Collaboration software, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue, that will now allow users to share non-CAD data via screen-sharing in the same collaboration session as the 3D CAD data.

Leveraging its recently announced support for multiple documents, EnSuite-Cloud ReVue truly provides a natural collaboration experience with this latest product enhancement. This allows for a much richer collaboration experience and makes EnSuite-Cloud ReVue the perfect alternative to Zoom and other screen-sharing apps, especially for engineering design reviews.

“The past 18 months have forced companies to rethink how they work with their team and suppliers. Companies have been forced to adopt best-in-class solutions to assist remote teams collaborate and exchange ideas effectively. Although products like Zoom have become a household name this past year, and are perfectly suitable for simple collaboration using documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, for engineering design reviews using a mix of 3D CAD data and supporting engineering documents, they are severely deficient. That created a big need in the marketplace for a solution focused exclusively on giving users the ability to discuss 3D data and supporting engineering documentation in real-time with their team or suppliers. We are happy to say that EnSuite-Cloud ReVue has been very successful in filling that void as a lot of our users continue to migrate from Zoom to our product for engineering collaboration,” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s V.P. of Sales & Marketing.

EnSuite-Cloud ReVue uses secure peer-to-peer connections between participants in the collaboration session. Hosts and reviewers do not have to store their proprietary data in any cloud server. At no point during, or at the end of the session, can participants download and save any data used in the collaboration.

Some of the key benefits of using EnSuite-Cloud ReVue for engineering design reviews include:

* No software installation or browser extensions required

“EnSuite-Cloud ReVue empowers everyone by democratizing high quality 3D CAD viewing and collaboration technology regardless of their location. All they need is an internet connection and a browser. EnSuite-Cloud ReVue provides a much superior and natural user experience for engineering collaboration than typical screen-sharing apps. With this latest screen-sharing update where users can seamlessly work with CAD and non-CAD documents in the same collaboration session, we are confident that we will continue to see users increasingly adopting EnSuite-Cloud ReVue as their go-to solution for engineering design reviews over solutions like Zoom,” added Vinay.

14 Hours Remaining to Invest in Axle.ai on Republic.co

Company announces $1m in bookings to date in 2021; new customers include WatchMojo, Serhant, ASG.

Boston, MA – USA | September 27, 2021 — Video management software vendor Axle.ai is in the home stretch of its 2nd successful equity crowdfund on Republic.co, which ends at midnight PDT today. Axle.ai’s previous equity crowdfunding round, in 2020, was oversubscribed, and this campaign has raised $283,000 (over 11x the original goal of $25,000) of a possible $428,000. The campaign page is at https://republic.co/axle-ai; a 3-minute pitch video featuring Axle.ai’s management can be viewed at tinyurl.com/axlein3mins. Investors can commit as little as $150 to participate in the campaign.

Today, Axle.ai announced it had received over $1m in orders to date in 2021, up from its 2020 tally of $667k and positioning the company to deliver its targeted $1.2-1.3m in revenue for the year. Recent orders include YouTube leaders WatchMojo and Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant’s media team. The company has also been notified that ASG LLC, a leading systems integrator for the media industry, will be launching solutions featuring Axle.ai’s software in Q4.

There is a worldwide explosion of video content. IDC estimates that global data will accelerate exponentially to 175 zettabytes by 2025. A growing, double-digit percentage of this storage is used to house media files. Meanwhile, approximately 400,000 video teams worldwide are responsible for capturing, editing, and managing this content; more than 2/3 of it isn’t readily searchable or available for access after initial use. Axle.ai has more than 700 customers worldwide, including high-profile names such as the NY Yankees, Madison Square Garden, the LA Clippers, PWC, Elevation Church, WB and Paramount. A recent profile of reality-TV production house Pie Town can be viewed at youtu.be/H1xkcQ0YJO8.

Sam Bogoch, CEO of axle ai, said “For years, creative teams have needed a simplified and cost-efficient way to remotely search and manage their content. Our second successful Republic equity crowdfunding raise is helping us deliver these solutions more widely – we encourage everyone to visit republic.co/axle-ai today.”

Other highlights:

•    Last month, Axle.ai announced it had completed acquisition of Noscos, an AI/ML startup focusing on face recognition and logo recognition applications.

•    Another big win for Axle.ai during the crowdfund was securing its largest deal ever – a $365,000 deployment at a major Asia-Pacific region broadcaster.

•    In July, Seagate and Axle.ai announced a strategic partnership around Seagate’s Lyve and LaCie solutions. The companies have begun joint sales activities and have deployed the first combined system to Togethxr.com, a women’s sports media company backed by Alex Morgan and Sue Bird.

Successful axle.ai Equity Crowdfunding Campaign on Republic.co Passes $250,000 Raised With 4 Days Remaining.

Boston, MA, USA | September 23, 2021 — Video management software vendor axle.ai was just covered in the prominent Business Insider website https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/axle-ai-the-search-engine-for-internal-media-files-is-equity-crowdfunding-to-make-video-editing-simpler-1030818742 , in an article describing axle’s startup journey and Republic.co equity crowdfunding round which ends midnight Pacific Time on Monday, Sept. 27th.

Axle’s previous equity crowdfunding round, in 2020, was oversubscribed, and the current round is rapidly approaching a similar outcome – over $250,000 (10x the original goal of $25,000) out of a possible $428,000 in this round is already committed. A 3-minute pitch video featuring the axle.ai management team can be viewed at https://tinyurl.com/axlein3mins , and the Republic campaign page is at https://republic.co/axle-ai .

The equity crowdfunding campaign highlights axle.ai 2021, the company’s browser-based remote media search software. The software includes a browser front end allowing multiple users to tag, catalog and search their media files, as well as a range of AI-driven options for automatically cataloging and discovering specific visual and audio attributes within those files. For instance, audio tracks can be automatically transcribed, with the resulting transcript immediately searchable in the timeline; likewise, axle.ai provides face recognition with integrated training for new faces over time. The modular nature of the system supports additional plug-ins for object and logo recognition, and identification of sports highlights. The software can be used to create distributed team workflows for storage pools that would otherwise be siloed and hard to search. To date, axle.ai has more than 700 customers worldwide, including high-profile names such as the NY Yankees, Madison Square Garden, the LA Clippers, PWC, Elevation Church, Paramount and Warner Bros. A recent profile of an axle customer, reality TV production house Pie Town (producers of HGTV’s House Hunting and Flip or Flop shows), can be viewed at youtu.be/H1xkcQ0YJO8.

One key for axle.ai in the last two years has been its software’s ability to enable remote work by video production teams. Often, video collaboration has relied on manual transfer of files between sites, often using portable hard drives and Fedex. Having a browser-based solution gives media teams much more flexibility in managing and staffing their projects to a quick outcome, and the ability to use AI-driven engines to search and reuse the content makes it much more valuable and relevant for modern marketing purposes, especially via social media.

Given the vast amounts of video – often many terabytes – that can be accumulated by a video team in even a single shoot, this system allows rapid search and management of those files over time. The software also includes a range of plug-in panels for Adobe’s Creative Cloud application suite software, which allow creative team members on any Mac or Windows laptop to directly search, access, and download media files wherever they are located. In addition, the company offers a no-code workflow automation tool, Connectr, as well as a freemium speech transcription tool, Ascribe. These are complementary to its core media management software and together provide a complete solution for axle.ai’s customers.

• This month, axle.ai announced that it had completed acquisition of Noscos, an AI/ML startup focusing on face recognition and logo recognition applications. This further enhances axle.ai’s technology stack while bringing new management strength to its engineering team in Eastern Europe.

• Another major announcement by the company was securing its largest deal ever – a $365,000 deployment at a major Asia-Pacific region broadcaster. Combined with other significant new customers as well as the new partnership with Seagate, this puts the company on track for a record year, with sales roughly double its 2020 tally.

• A recent strategic partnership with storage vendor Seagate is driving a new level of opportunity for axle.ai, as joint sales efforts target large brands and media organizations with significant storage needs. The two companies have concluded their first joint sale, with womens’ media network Togethxr, which includes Seagate’s Lyve Cloud and LaCie products, as well as axle.ai 2021.

Sam Bogoch, CEO of axle.ai, said “For years, creative teams have expressed the need for a simplified and cost-efficient way to remotely search and manage their content. Legacy solutions for broadcasters have been expensive and complex, but our mission is to state-of-the-art AI and MAM (media asset management) capabilities to the widest possible range of creative teams. Our second successful Republic equity crowdfunding raise is helping us achieve these goals.”

There is a worldwide explosion of video content. The market intelligence firm IDC has estimated that the sum of data generated globally by 2025 is set to accelerate exponentially to 175 zettabytes. A growing, double-digit percentage of this storage is used to house media files. Meanwhile, approximately 400,000 video teams worldwide are responsible for capturing, editing, and managing this content, but much of it becomes difficult to leverage soon after capture; in a report commissioned by axle.ai’s partner Seagate, IDC estimates that more than two-thirds of data stored is not readily searchable or available for access after initial use.
