KastKing Announces Affordable Mela Spinning Reel

The 2016 model KastKing® Mela Spinning Reel is light, smooth, powerful, and comes with a spare spool at no additional charge.

Finished entirely in jet black, the Mela Spinning Reel’s standard features includes: 10 + 1 stainless steel bearings, instant stop anti-reverse, stainless steel main shaft, brass gear, interchangeable right or left hand CNC aerospace-grade machined aluminum handle and aluminum spool with honeycomb design spool skirt, plus a spare graphite spool.

KastKing Mela Spinning reels are available in 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 class sizes. Line capacity on the Mela ranges from 82 yards of 10 lb test on the Mela 2000 to 240 yards of 10 lb test on the 5000. The Mela’s light weight graphite body and all of its components are saltwater approved and carry a one-year warranty.
