ABOUT CYBERSECURITY BOARDROOM WORKSHOP 2015
As cyber attacks become more common, companies are increasingly investing in cyber security protections. But even with the best systems in place, hackers can still easily break into a company’s network if workers aren’t also being diligent about security. Cyber criminals have gotten much better at disguising malicious email to make it look more legitimate. So employees need to be vigilant and ask questions about all of the email they receive that raises even the slightest suspicion, which is most likely not what happened at some of the high-profile cyber security breaches that have been in the headlines recently: Adobe, ADP, E*Trade, Fidelity, Home Depot, JPMorgan Chase, Nasdaq, Neiman Marcus, Sony, Target and Wal-mart.

Cybersecurity Boardroom Workshop 2015 (http://www.cybersecurityboardroomworkshop.com), How Boards of Directors and CXOs Can Build the Proper Foundation to Address Today’s Information Security Challenges, is a must-attend forum for board members, CEOs, CFOs, COOs and executive managers in New York City, London, Dubai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Sydney, Taipei, Seoul and Tokyo who need to become more educated about cyber security in order to ask questions that are strategic yet granular enough to address company specifics. Cybersecurity Boardroom Workshop 2015 is targeted at corporate decision-makers for whom cybersecurity readiness is a relatively new yet critically important area to be intelligently conversant about:

Rosendin Electric’s Diya Peter Wins 2015 Women in Construction Award

Constructech Recognizes Operations Applications Team Leader for Her Role in Bringing New Technology to All Rosendin Electric Regions.

San Jose, CA, USA (September 22, 2015) — Rosendin Electric, one of the nation’s largest private electrical contractors and an employee-owned company, is proud to announce that Diya Peter, Operations Applications Lead for the company, has been recognized by Constructech Magazine with a 2015 Women In Construction Award. The Award is presented each year to the most influential women shaping the construction industry.

Ms. Peter was selected as one of a select group of women who are having an impact on construction. In her role as Operations Applications Lead, Ms. Peter has been responsible for the design, development, and deployment of all applications used by Rosendin Electric’s Field and Operations team. Much of her responsibility includes implementing new technology to Rosendin Electric’s regional offices as well as field training. Most recently, she has been implementing a new time-tracking application designed for field payroll and time management, and deploying construction project management platforms companywide.

“Diya is an evangelist for new ideas and new technologies and has been instrumental in bringing the latest applications to the field,” said Sam Lamonica, CIO of Rosendin Electric. “Her experience and passion have been instrumental in gaining the confidence of our field personnel and regional managers and getting them to embrace the latest technology tools.”

Ms. Peter has more than seven years of experience in developing and managing IT systems for the construction industry and she serves as a mentor to other women, drawing from her extensive experience in IT and construction to counsel them on future career opportunities. She is also active with an industry-related CIO Scholarship Fund, which has been tasked with starting a Young Professionals Group to support MIS students.

“I am honored to receive a Women in Construction Award,” said Ms. Peter. “Women are still a minority in the construction industry, and this award not only speaks to the value of my contribution, but it honors all of the women who are changing the face of construction.”

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, women only make up 8.9 percent of the construction workforce, and even a smaller percentage contributes to construction technology. Constructech’s Women in Construction awards honor those women who are not only contributors to the construction industry, but also whose passion and leadership are shaping the future of construction.

GiftWorksPlus Announces Tips For The Best Fall Family Portraits

Find the perfect customizable wooden frame for fall family portraits with GiftWorksPlus.

Waukesha, WI, USA — GiftWorksPlus, a custom frame designer, is now helping families to take amazing fall family portraits. With cooler weather setting in and the leaves about to change, autumn is the year’s best time to have your loved ones professionally photographed together! The Wisconsin-based custom gifts online store has several suggestions for families looking to make the most of this fall with a stunning portrait.

Get Outside!
Fall is the most beautiful time of the year to be outdoors, so what better place for your family portrait? Work with your photographer to find a location that captures the spectacular colors of the fall foliage. Lakesides or river bluffs are great spots for a fall portrait.

Dress to Impress
This is not a time to wear Bermuda shorts and tank tops. Dress your family in cozy sweaters and plaids to display your autumn fashion sense. Cool temperatures aren’t easy to show through a photo frame, so dressing in warm clothes will convey that crisp fall air in a photo.

Don’t Be Afraid to Use Props
Many iconic symbols appear during this time of year: leaves on the ground, hay bales, and scarecrows to name a few. Attempt to work these into your portrait without making it looked forced. Standing in a park with colorful leaves at your feet or casually sitting on hay bales will show off that autumn feeling all year long!

Once the perfect fall family portrait has been captured, trust GiftWorksPlus to have the perfect engraved wooden frame for it. The online customizable gifts store has hundreds of wooden picture frames to compliment any family’s portrait, no matter the time of year.

GiftWorksPlus offers free personalization of all its quality wooden frames. Add names, dates, or special quotes to the family picture frame to create an unforgettable memory and show off a fall portrait in style. No matter the event, GiftWorksPlus has customized picture frames to make it special.

Headquartered in the heartland of America, GiftWorksPlus is proud to offer a full line of personalized picture frames, personalized key chains, picture gifts, and more. Each GiftWorksPlus item is made in the USA of renewable resources and handcrafted by talented master craftsmen. Special requests and custom orders are always welcome at GiftWorksPlus. UglyDeck.com Announces Valuable Tips For Safe Grilling This Fall

UglyDeck.com stresses the importance of grilling safely by providing simple tips to ensure a fun and safe environment out on a deck.

Burnsville, MN, USA — UglyDeck.com, a Minneapolis deck builder, knows that fall is a popular time for people to grill on their decks. With the football season starting, it’s a prime time for people to host get-togethers and grill. To best preserve a deck, and more importantly, to keep everyone safe, it’s important to review some helpful tips from the National Fire Protection Association to stay safe while grilling on the deck this football season.

• Make sure to keep the grill away from your home, as well as deck railings and overhanging branches. It’s important to keep the grill clear of overhanging branches in case of a flare-up. Also make sure that the grill is in an open space, away from any overhangs, since carbon monoxide could accumulate.
• While the grill is on, make sure to keep children and pets away from the grilling area.
• Don’t ever try to move a hot grill.
• Never leave a grill unattended. This is important not only to keep from overcooking brats and burgers, but it’s also important so that children and pets are kept at a safe distance and to keep an eye out for flare-ups.
• Clean the grill thoroughly after each use by removing grease buildup from the grill and tray below the grill.

With maintenance free decking materials from UglyDeck.com, it’s easy to build a deck with plenty of space to safely grill and entertain people throughout the football season. UglyDeck.com can find the deck solutions for any outdoor space, from deck railing design ideas to front porch designs. And though it’s the beginning of autumn, it still isn’t too late to contact UglyDeck.com and discuss updates or changes to your deck.

As experts in deck designs, the deck builders at UglyDeck.com can give you tips and ideas on how to create the perfect – and safe – outdoor space to host your outdoor grill-outs during the football season.

New Enclosure: SmartTOP Add-on Convertible Top Controller for Volvo C70 Convertibles

Effective immediately Mods4cars ships the aftermarket SmartTOP Convertible Top Modules for the Volvo C70 Convertible in the new, custom designed product enclosure. It was made exclusively for Mods4cars and makes installation of the product simpler and more straightforward. The SmartTOP modules make using the convertible top more fun, more convenient and give owners a bunch of bonus features.

Las Vegas, NV (USA), September 22nd, 2015 — Mods4cars now ships the SmartTOP add-on Convertible Top Controller for Volvo C70 Convertibles equipped with the new product enclosure. Designed specifically and exclusively for the SmartTOP modules, this new, slimmer enclosure allows installation in very tight spots in the car while two integrated LEDs show the module status and help during the installation phase.

“The new product design of our SmartTOP Convertible Top modules now matches the sophistication of the product internals.” says PR Manager Sven Tornow. The smart Convertible Top add-on modules make use of the top on a daily basis more fun and come with many convenient extra features. The SmartTOP makes it possible to open and close the roof on the Volvo C70 while driving up to 40 km/h (~28mph) with just a quick tap of a button. It is no longer required to pull over and hold down the switch for the duration of the operation.

Additionally the top can be operated from the original key from remote. A quick key combination on the remote is all that is needed to start a full automatic top cycle. While the top is still opening, SmartTOP customers can get in and start driving. No changes are necessary to either the key remotes or the receiver system.

Other than the two main features mentioned above, the SmartTOP comes with a host of configurable bonus features: All windows can be simultaneously and fully automatically closed via the “all windows” switch. An “extended mode” allows turning the ignition on or off while an ongoing top operation is allowed to continue. Turning off the ignition can be set to unlock the doors. The passenger mirror can be programmed to dip down in reverse gear. A safety feature can be activated that blinks the hazard blinkers during remote activated top operation.

The entire module can be deactivated temporarily while retaining all other user configurable settings. The module comes with a standard USB port for quick and easy firmware updates via PC or Mac as well as computer based configuration of the module user settings. Support software and firmware updates are available online and free of charge.

A plug-in-between wiring adapter is part of the kit. It allows for a simple and easy installation of the SmartTOP module in the car by just connecting the module to the car electronics in two steps.

About Mods4cars:
Mods4cars was founded in 2002 with the idea to add a highly demanded feature to the otherwise almost perfect Porsche Boxster: Comfort One-Touch roof operation while driving at slow speeds. The resulting product offered not only that, but also allowed quick and easy installation by just swapping out a relay box, thus leaving no traces and no permanent changes on the vehicle. The first SmartTOP roof controller was born.

The success of their first products in Germany and Europe prompted them in late 2004 to move operations to the USA, to be able to serve the American market as well as all other English speaking countries such as Australia, UK and South Africa from one central location. Their business has grown to a full-fledged international corporation with an office in Las Vegas and a full line of innovative products as well as distributors and installation partners all over the globe.

Being highly specialized in the development and distribution of aftermarket roof- and comfort controllers since 2002 allows them to offer an unsurpassed level of competence and product quality. Their main goal is optimization of each individual product to a maximum in compatibility, usability and intuitive operation. They put greatest effort into development and quality checks of all their products to achieve this goal and meet all expectations of their customers.

The extraordinary success of their products is also based on the great communication with their customers, which usually already starts for each new product during the development and prototyping phase.

Minneapolis Digital Marketing Agency, Brandography, Moving Office to New Location

Brandography, a Minneapolis digital marketing agency, is moving its offices to a new location in the Uptown neighborhood.

Minneapolis, MN, USA — Brandography, a Minneapolis digital marketing agency, is moving its offices to a new location in the Uptown neighborhood. As of September 6th, the marketing agency will be based out of The Semple Mansion, located at 100 W Franklin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404. The company’s 2,000 square foot suite is located on the second floor of the mansion.

The move comes as Brandography continues to add members to its team and expand its services. The digital marketing agency’s suite includes an attached office space and three separate offices as well as a spacious main room. Highlights of the space include: original wooden floors, imported velvet wallpaper, elegant chandeliers, large windows, and a functional wood-burning fireplace in the conference room.

Brandography’s old offices of three-years, located at 837 Glenwood Avenue in Minneapolis, had simply become too small for the growing digital marketing company. Over the past year, the marketing agency added 3 new full-time positions and has plans to add two more before the year is up. The larger Semple Mansion location will allow the company to continue growing its staff comfortably as well as its offerings and capabilities.

“While we loved our old offices on Glenwood, this new location presents us with so many opportunities,” said Jason Dailey, owner of Brandography. “Not only will it allow us to bring on more team members, we will be able to better serve our clients.”

The Semple Mansion is located on the corner of Franklin and LaSalle Avenue, adjacent to coffee shops, drug stores, and shopping. Free off-street parking is available for Brandography staff members and the marketing agency’s clients. Even though the mansion hosts weddings and events nearly every weekend, Brandography is not concerned.

“The Semple Mansion is such an iconic location and the fact that weddings take place below us is a testament to how lucky we are to be in this space,” said Dailey. “This is an exciting time for Brandography as we celebrate our growth in this amazing and historic Minneapolis location!”.

Monika Mori Named as the Gallery’s New Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that contemporary artist Monika Mori is the gallery’s newest featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (September 19, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that contemporary artist Monika Mori is the gallery’s newest featured artist. She will now be presented and promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase for the next 30 days.

Monika Mori, a/k/a MOO, was born in 1960 in Moedling, Austria. She had studies in Fine Art, amplified her scope as an artist by formal training courses and workshops throughout Europe and the United States.

The Austrian contemporary multimedia artist creates playful moody paintings, drawings and collages celebrating experiences and emotions animated by dazzling colors or strictly black and white. Her early works are highly expressive – she has always wanted the world to hear what she has to say, and these artistic communications embody her emotions, experiences and her delight at the interaction with color. For Mori, color is liberating.

In her series “Mystical Garden” which started in 2012 and found its renaissance this year, she creates flowers in a seemingly easy style. These drawings are a moral suasion to protect nature instead of manipulating seeds. It is her great concern that people relearn to think independently and to act accordingly. She thinks that mankind had become lazy, likes to have regulations in all areas so that they can make others responsible.

Mori’s work has been exhibited worldwide and is included in public and private collections around the globe. Her website http://www.mori-art.at.
