Female Minster and Author Helps Quench Spiritual Thirst through Inspirational Truths

Writing has always been a passion of minster and businesswoman Dianna Caraballo. Wanting to inspire and help motivate those around her is something she learned at a young age.

Brooklyn Heights, OH (USA), April 11th, 2015 — Writing has always been a passion of minster and businesswoman Dianna Caraballo. Wanting to inspire and help motivate those around her is something she learned at a young age. Being one of eight siblings and growing up in a large family, it was important to support one another in good or bad times. However, Caraballo knew God wanted more for her.

“Becoming a minster was a very rewarding day in my life,” says Dianna. “God has a purpose for us all and we all need each other collectively, even if our purposes are different.”

Caraballo’s call to serve God did not stop after He called her to minster. She soon went on to pen two books (both published by Halo Publishing, Int.), Women Were Designed for Greatness Too! and A Little Drink of Water: A Devotional of Spiritual Awakening.

In her book Women Were Designed for Greatness Too!, Caraballo’s message is one of encouragement and hope for women everywhere. “A lot of what I share has to do with how women are brought up in church and taught there is a difference between men and women. In truth, we are to love one another as HE loves the church and us,” says Dianna. “I share a lot of the internal workings of different churches, but most importantly, my goal is to share that God can call anyone, man or woman, to do His work.”

In her recently released book, A Little Drink of Water: A Devotional of Spiritual Awakening, Caraballo shares the power of encouragement through seeing the good. “The inspiration for this book had a lot to do with social media and all the negative comments and postings being shared. Wanting to encourage and bring positive re-enforcement to my social media friends, I started posting an inspirational quote or thought of the day. This brought a big following and led me to compile these posts, and additional thoughts, into a book. My goal is to share God’s love, inspiration and help build self-esteem in our daily lives.”

As an author and mister, Dianna Caraballo hopes to help put an end to all the bad traditions, or what the population thinks are Christian traditions, and help those around her start living the way God wants us to live. She also hopes to share the message that we are to be co-leaders of the world and in God’s work.

“Many people are hurting, stressed out and need help,” says Halo Publishing Lisa M. Umina. “Many of us don’t know how to ask for help and people like Dianna Caraballo who reach out a hand and say, ‘Hope isn’t lost. I’m here to encourage you and see the good in you,’ who help us realize we are loved and there is good in our lives.”

You can purchase both of Dianna Caraballo’s books through Halo Publishing, Amazon and B&N.

High School Students Release Children’s Book to Raise Funds for Bridge to Burundi Project

Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and Halo Publishing International Partner with Students.

Hudson, Quebec (Canada), April 11th, 2015 — Westwood High School students have teamed up with Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire and Halo Publishing International to release their first children’s book, “Bakuru and the School on the Hill.” The book is a collaborative effort of writing and illustrations between about 30 students, alumni and teachers, along with a forward by Dallaire. The hope is that this book will raise awareness and funds for the Bridge to Burundi, a six-year project where students have been helping a small African village break the cycle of poverty.

The book takes the reader through the eyes of a young girl named Baruru who shows the history and culture of the Burundi school and how education changes the poverty cycle.

“We wanted to tie in global issues and human rights so the book would have a message,” says Nancy Koluzs, who headed up the book project through the school’s Literacy Project program. She’s also a major contributor to the Bridge to Burundi Project.

The idea to write a children’s book started after Halo author Valerie Redmond contacted Koluzs to get involved with the school’s literacy program. Halo Publisher Lisa M. Umina found out about the book project and wanted to help.

“I love giving back,” says Halo Publisher Lisa M. Umina. “Helping students by publishing a book to raise awareness and funds for global issues just made sense to me.”

Westwood teachers say the book will do more than just raise funds and awareness about the Bridge to Burundi Project.

“We believe this book will inspire kids to become active global citizens,” says Peter Nield, another teacher involved with the Bridge to Burundi. “No matter how small your efforts are, we teach students at Westwood that they can have a global impact.”

You can purchase “Bakuru and the School on the Hill” at www.HaloPublishing.com. Funds raised will go toward the Bridge to Burundi Project.

Bridge to Burundi Project:
The Bridge to Burundi Project started in October 2009 by students at Westwood High School as part of their annual Student Life camp. Westwood teacher and native Burundian Jean-Claude Manirakiza gave a presentation to the students on the state of education in his home country. Roused by the story of his life, the students decided to build an elementary school in Rwoga, Burundi. Eight months later, the first classroom opened to 60 first graders. Since then, another ten classrooms have been built, offering free education and supplies to more than 400 students. In addition, the students have raised more than $100,000 to build a medical centre, convenience store, and drinkable water to the village.

Cabby Turns Out To Be Billionaire!!

Local cab driver on the island of Kiki Loa writes a personal check for $15,000,000 to build a water desalinization plant for his fellow islanders a major resort can be built on the island.

Kiki Loa, April 10, 2015 – A few days ago, on the tiny island of Kiki Loa, a local cab driver named Akamai Kane, wrote a personal check for $15,000,000 to build a water desalinization plant for his fellow islanders. Further investigation now reveals that Mr. Kane is currently worth over $20 billion, making him among the wealthiest men in the world.

Kiki Loa is small island located approximately 1,700 miles due west of the Hawaiian island of Maui. Approximately 99% of Kiki Loa’s residents rely on sugar cane farming as their primary source of income. The remaining one percent of the islanders works in the island’s tourism trade, consisting of only a few small Bed and Breakfast Inns that attracted a hand full of adventurous tourists.

As it turns out, about a year ago a major hotel corporation came to Kiki Loa to investigate building a world class resort. Obviously, if selected this would mean the islanders could give up their torturous lifestyle of working the sugar cane fields as better employment would become readily available.

In an interview this afternoon with a member of the Resort’s site evaluation team; he stated that they found Kiki Loa’s natural beauty ideal for their desired project. This is because it has everything they wanted: lush rain forests, spectacular scenic views, abundant aquatic life on the island’s reefs, and miles of white sandy beaches. This same source also revealed, that unfortunately the evaluation team’s due diligence also found out that the island did not have large enough fresh water supplies to support the size project the hotel desired to build.

Over the next few months, the evaluation team continued to work on ways to try and make the project work. However, apparently in the end they could not justify the extra $15 million it would take to build the fresh water desalinization plant required to support the resort project.

A couple of months ago, the Governor’s office in Kiki Loa was informed by the resort’s representatives that unless it could find the resources to build its own desalinization plant within the next 60 day period, they would reluctantly have to choose another island for the project.

Obviously, this has been devastating news for the Islanders as there was no foreseeable way for them to get this done. Then two days ago, as the deadline was about to expire, the strangest thing happened. Akamai Kane, a native born Kiki Laotian and its only taxi driver, walked into the Governor’s office and presented him with a personal check for $15,000,000 to pay for the water plant.

At first everyone there thought that Mr. Kane was playing a joke trying to lighten up a sad situation. But to everyone’s amazement, they soon found out that this check was good; so Kiki Loa will now get its new Hotel Resort.

As a result, this news story ends on a happy note, as the future for the people of Kiki Loa is now much more secure and brighter!
