google android tablets are appearing in all directions it seems lately, most being fundamentally the same design wise. The SmartQ Ten tablet however has something more available. Adapted from its predecessor the R10, the T10 should have a similar IPS display but will prove to add its piezoelectric technology.

Using its piezoelectric touchscreen the Ten enables users to obtain multi-touch capability if you use non-conductive instruments say for example a stylus and also fingers. The screen measures in at 9.7?¡À consequently it will eventually provide precision input with cheaper material on sharper screen clarity.

That the technology works is piezoelectric transducers that happen to be within the screen at different points turn a little or vibration into the signal. The SmartQ Ten also comes with a Cortex-A9 chip, 512MB RAM, Mali 400 GPU but will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Engadget say you cannot find any release date as of yet or price. Additionally they say it isn’t known if it’s going to have an update for Honeycomb. Investigate most their article here.
