Sansoro Health will debut its EMR interoperability application, Emissary™, at the 2016 HIMSS Conference in Las Vegas, February 29th – March 4th.
Minneapolis, MN, USA — Sansoro Health, a Minneapolis based healthcare IT company, will debut its core product, Emissary™, to medical professionals and leaders at the 2016 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference. This year’s conference will take place February 29th – March 4th at The Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sansoro team will be located at Booth #12206 near University Row in the Convention Center.
Sansoro has developed an electronic medical record (EMR) interoperability application, Emissary, that brings the proven integration technology found in retail and banking, to healthcare. Emissary is currently integrated into EMR systems in several medical centers across the United States however; this conference will represent the first time the application has been shared publically with the greater industry.
Sansoro team members will be on hand each day of the conference to answer questions and explain Emissary’s ability to easily integrate any data with an EMR. This results in simplified and streamlined workflows in clinical settings by creating interoperability between various EMR platforms. The application’s innovative web services design allows it to integrate seamlessly with an organization’s existing healthcare IT and EMR systems. At the company’s booth, Sansoro team members will share how Emissary’s functionality can be used to display consolidated patient medical records from multiple EMRs, support real-time analytics, and provide full-featured patient portals.
On February 29th, Sansoro CMO, Dave Levin, MD, will be a keynote speaker at an educational session on improving cybersecurity in healthcare IT. The session, entitled “C-Level Perspective: Reasonable Responses and Selling Your Plan”, will focus on healthcare information security issues that are being addressed at both the c-level and board level. Dr. Levin will share his experiences in this area and discuss effective strategies for prioritizing security in healthcare information systems.
