“As an international organization that’s devoted to improving the world economy and the lives of our senior citizens, we enthusiastically embrace SAMBO because it’s a global sport, it fosters international cooperation and social development, it’s great for health and fitness, and it also has a very active seniors/masters division,” said CJ Kuo, one of the event’s organizers and President and CEO of the ISPAR Foundation.
The competition is also sponsored by FIAS, Federation International Amateur SAMBO (www.sambo.com), the sport’s international governing body based in Lausanne, Switzerland. FIAS has affiliates in 75 countries and growing.
