Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 4th Annual “SeaScapes” Juried Art Competition for the month of August 2014.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 25, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 4th Annual “SeaScapes” Juried Art Competition for the month of August 2014. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s September 2014 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme “SeaScapes” by submitting their best representational or non-representational seascape art. For this theme, Seascape subjects would include scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects. The deadline to apply to this art competition is August 27, 2014.

Winners of the “SeaScapes” Art Exhibition will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, 75+ event announcement posts, extensive social media marketing and distribution, in order to make the art world aware of the art exhibition and in particular, the artist’s accomplishments. There will also be links back to the artist’s website included as part of this award package.

In addition to the above, artists shall also receive a digital Award Certificate, Event Postcard, Event Catalogue, Press Releases and “Leveraging Your Success” marketing materials if they place in this exhibition. Dennis Sabo is in Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine art photographer Dennis Sabo is their newest featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 16, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine art photographer Dennis Sabo is their newest featured artist. He will now be presented in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next month.

Dennis Sabo, a Loudon, Tennessee resident, is an internationally honored photographer specializing in contemporary abstract, landscape, and seascape photography. His fine art prints interweave his creative compositional expressions and vivid colors into nature’s greater scheme of things. Dennis has refined the photograph into an interpretive collage of colors, and texture.

His award-winning work has appeared in various publications, television, the Internet and institutions, among them NOVA, PBS, National Geographic, Hilton Hotels, Ocean Conservancy, and Blue Planet.

His fine art has been included in solo and group gallery exhibitions at the Blowing Rocks Preserve- Hobe Sound, FL., Arts in the Airport Spring 2011/13 Exhibition-Knoxville, the National Juried Exhibition 2011/13- Knoxville, Red Line Gallery-Farragut, TN, the Emporium-Knoxville, Dogwood Regional Fine Art Exhibition 2012/14, Knoxville, TN, Bliss Home Designs 2013/14, Tomato Head- Knoxville, TN 2012/13, and ongoing at “The Art Market Gallery”, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dennis states about his photography, “I often turn to the masters for inspiration, Monet as a painter, and Elliot Porter as a photographer. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. With a global community very much focused on environmental impact and fragile ecosystems, my artwork captures natural images and color with a perspective people easily miss. My interest is in the natural details; how the environment on a particular day, in a particular light, and at a particular moment in time correlates to my personal vision and interpretation of nature”. 4th Annual Botanicals Art Exhibition Results Now Posted Online

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2014 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 1, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2014 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Botanicals” and artists were asked to apply to this competition by submitting their best botanicals and floral art.

An art competition was held in June 2014 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 20 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 34 different states. Overall, there were 697 entries which were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Merit and Special Recognition artists. The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce they have chosen Submittable, the online submission platform, to receive and administer the gallery’s art competition submissions.

Jupiter, FL, USA (June 26, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce they have chosen Submittable, the online submission platform, to receive and administer the gallery’s art competition submissions. This change will become effective July 1, 2014.

Submittable is an international online platform that provides administrative processing of entries for art organizations. Submittable provides these services for most creatives, specializing in writing, film-making, art, photography and grants.

Based in Montana, Submittable was founded in 2009. Presently, they provide administrative services to more than 7,000 organizations. Their website is http://www.submittable.com.

Math, Gallery Director of Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery explains the rationale for this change. “As our online art competitions have become more popular and are now on a large international scale, we want the artists who compete to have their entries administered 24 hours a day. The Submittable platform provides this function efficiently for us”.

Math goes on to say, “We have wanted to upgrade our entry system. In Submittable we’ve found a simple and effective method for artists to participate in our future competitions. In addition, the platform will allow the gallery to employ guest judges and eliminate the server and upload problems that sometimes occur close to the entry deadline”.

Math, continues, “With Submittable’s easy registration (Name and Email Address Only), any artist who registers will be able to access any of their entries, as well as be registered automatically for any other competitions on the Submittable platform. We are very excited about these changes. We believe our artist participants will see the immediate benefits of using the Submittable entry platform”.

Jupiter, FL, USA (June 22, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 4th Annual “Animals” Online Art Competition for the month of July 2014. 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s August 2014 online group exhibition. The gallery encourages entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best “Animal” art. For this theme, Animal art will include mammals, birds and any animals that live in the water.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of August 2014. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places. Also, 5 Honorable Mention places will be awarded. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, Special Merit and Special Recognition awards will also be given as well. American abstract artist Mary Lea Bradley is a self-taught artist from Southern California. Her focus is primarily on painting in this expressive body of work. Bradley’s Art is immediately striking.

Her paintings are characterized by a sense of mystery that invites the viewer in. The paintings transport you from reality to a vibrant, mystical world, where you are the story teller, creating and interpreting your own stories. She’s the kind of artist anyone can talk with. Extremely approachable.

Rooted squarely in emotional abstraction, Mary Lea Bradley’s work is never static. Through the intangible elements of light, movement and space, Bradley creates images of uninhibited sensuality. A master colorist, her rich tonal balance exuberantly depicts abstraction with passion, sensation and feeling.

It is imagery filled with an intensity of atmosphere that makes the viewer an insider. Her pieces attract; you want to know more, where it started, where it’s going. The viewer’s curiosity makes this artist and her work take flight.

Bradley currently lives and works in San Diego, California. Online Art Gallery Now Accepts 3 Dimensional Art

The Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is pleased to announce that they will now accept 3 dimensional art (3D Art) into their future online art competitions.

Jupiter, FL, USA (May 16, 2014) — The Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is pleased to announce that they will now accept 3 dimensional art (3D Art) into their future online art competitions. In the past, LST decided not to accept this type of art, as many presentations of 3D art were below their standards in quality for publishing art on their website.

3D art which will now be acceptable for entering into their online art competitions will be sculpture, collage, pottery, relief type art, kinetics, installation art, assemblage, crafts, carving, glass, jewelry, paper and related media, as long as the art which is entered is in keeping and related to the gallery’s theme. The 3D Art that the LST Gallery will accept for entry into their online exhibitions must still be presented professionally and at an acceptable high quality.

The LST Gallery receives many inquiries every month about accepting 3D Art and we hope that this policy change regarding expanding acceptable media will help the 3D artists to increase their venues to a much larger and quality audience of viewers.

We have put together a small post on how to photograph 3D Art properly and we hope that any artists who choose to enter their art in the gallery’s online art competitions will read and review these helpful ideas. Here is a link to the post “Tips for Photographing 3 Dimensional Art”.

Subodh Maheshwari Chosen for Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Subodh Maheshwari is the gallery’s newest featured artist and she will now be showcased and promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next 30 days.

Jupiter, FL, USA (May 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Subodh Maheshwari is the gallery’s newest featured artist and she will now be showcased and promoted in the gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next 30 days.

Subodh Maheshwari is an award winning artist who was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, North India. While earning her Masters in Fine Arts at the University of California, Irvine, she won the prestigious Regional Fellowship Award.

Subodh has participated in many national and international shows including Seoul, South Korea’s 1988 Olympics fourth Cosmopolitan Exhibition. Her paintings have received awards in a variety of categories, and her artworks hang in many public and private collections worldwide.

Her artwork accented by Hindi and Sanskrit passages is a fusion of Eastern symbolism and Western composition influenced by Rajasthani and Mogul art. Highly individual in style, her work is described as diverse, emotional, mysterious, personal and humorous.

Subodh is a respected and experienced art educator since 1986, she taught art for over five years at the University of California, Irvine, and continues to provide art instruction at Riverside Community College, CA. She is active in the California art and education communities, judges art shows, provides lectures, conducts art demonstrations/workshops, creative Indian cooking, and Hindi Language classes to students of all ages.

More of her recent exhibitions as a featured/Solo artist include the Solo Show ArtExpo New York, NY and her “Vision of Earth” show at the Center Art Gallery, Anaheim, CA. Her latest group show was at the South Nevada Fine Art Museum, NV. Currently, Subodh’s creative work is published by World Wide Art Books, “Important World Artists Vol. I”, and in “International Contemporary Masters” Volume VI, VII and VIII, and will also be included in Volume IX in 2015.
