The year 2010 has ended with only a couple of days to go now. And it has been a tremendous year for RIM (Research in Motion). Sales wise that is. RIM has returned a very positive 41% rise in its profits for the third quarter of this year that has for all practical purposes gone by. After a brief and slighly alarming lull in sales in the year 2009 mainly due to the global economic recession that hit the UK economy badly, the Blackberry mobile phones have once again retained a lot of their original success levels and at least for the present there does not seem to be anything stopping Blackberry mobile phone s to set newer and newer sales records.

In the last few years, RIM has managed to expand its customer base from merely targeting the ever loyal corporate professionals to the unimaginably bigger and vastly untapped (for RIM  that is) mid segment customer base and even some bit of the value end of the market base. RIM has been able to do so because of the fact that all Cheap Blackberry phones now including smartphones such as Blackberry Bold 9780, Blackberry Storm 2, Blackberry Torch 9800, Blackberry Curve 9300 3G, Blackberry Pearl 9105 3G are selling at prices that compare pretty favourably with the prices of say some of the new HTC, Nokia or Samsung smartphone handsets.

In fact, a rich array of Blackberry contract phones offer all of these smartphone handsets for free against one or the other contract phone plans. The contract phone plans in most cases require the buyer only to pay monthly sums only in th range of £ 20 to £ 45 per month. This range, as all of us very well know, is something that most users of mobile phone handsets will be more than happy to pay for a gleaming new Blackberry Bold smartphone device.
