The first in the list is Albert Einstein

Albert Einsten was awarded Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his leading work on photo electric effect.

Apart from this work, he is also acclaimed for his theory of relativity, and the mass energy equation, both of which challenged the contemporary ideas of Science in his time.
His work not only got him legendary, but also converted the viewpoint of Physics completely.
It is no surprize that even after more than hundred years, he continued to be very famous.

In later years, he worked on the general theory of relativity and unified field theory. In the history of Science, Albert Einstein was ascertained as an exceptional genius.

The extraordinary Marie Curie

She is the first and only person who got Nobel Prize both in Chemistry and Physics.

Madame Marie Sklodowska Curie, got Nobel Prize in 1911 for Chemistry for her invention of two new elements at that time Radium and Polonium. She was working as professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Paris at that time.

Earlier to that, she already got a Nobel Prize jointly with two other scientists – Henri Becquerel and Pierre Curie (her husband) during 1903 in Physics for their work on radioactive characteristics of Uranium and Thorium.

While continuing on the above research, she observed the two new radioactive elements which are named as Polonium, after the name of her birth country Poland and Radium.

Martin Luther King Jr

Martin Luther King Jr, was from USA. From his childhood, he had seen racial bias and worked peacefully to achieve equalness of all human beings. He led the first great Negro non-violent peace march and the bus boycott during 1955, which continued for more than one year. Due to his work, in 1956, Supreme Court of the United States had affirmed the laws requiring segregation on buses unconstitutional and subsequently people of all races used the buses as equals.

He was awarded Nobel peace prize in 1964 for his work on human rights. At the age of thirty-five, Martin Luther King, Jr., was the youngest man to have received the Nobel Peace Prize and he gifted the award money of $54,123 to the cause of the civil rights crusade.

US President Obama

Barack H Obama, President of United States was accorded Nobel Prize in 2009 for hismarvelous efforts to encourage international diplomacy and united action between peoples.
His vision of the human race without weapons was applauded by the Nobel Committee. His vision expedited more work in the area of human rights and democracy across the globe.
However his Nobel Award met with some criticism also. By and large Nobel Prize is given to long demonstrated work where as Obama’s efforts were in the initial stage.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was born in South Africa in 1918 From his initial years, he questioned the South African ruling party’s racial discrimination policies.

To fight this cause, Mandela formed a military wing of the African National Congress party. For 18 years, he was jailed and finally released in 1990.

After he released from the jail, he was elected as the first democratically choosen president of South Africa.

Nelson Mandela received 1993 Nobel peace prize jointly along with Frederik Willem de Klerk, president of South Africa at that time, for their work for the peaceful termination of the apartheid establishment, and for making the new structure for a new democratic South Africa.
