Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 4th Annual “Nature” Juried Art Competition for the month of October 2014.

Jupiter, FL, USA (September 25, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces a call for entries for the gallery’s 4th Annual “Nature” Juried Art Competition for the month of October 2014. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s November 2014 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme “Nature” by submitting their best representational or non-representational art. For this theme, “Nature” subjects would include geographical subjects, natural objects, wildlife, natural environments, or anything not created or substantially altered by man. The deadline to apply to this art competition is October 27, 2014.

Winners of the “Nature” Art Exhibition will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, 75+ event announcement posts, extensive social media marketing and distribution, in order to make the art world aware of the art exhibition and in particular, the artist’s accomplishments. There will also be links back to the artist’s website included as part of this award package. Tamara Campeau is Gallery’s New Featured Artist

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Canadian wildlife artist Tamara Campeau is the gallery’s newest featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (September 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that Canadian wildlife artist Tamara Campeau is the gallery’s newest featured artist. Tamara will now be featured and be widely promoted by the gallery.

Tamara Campeau was originally born in the sunshine state of Florida. Not too long after she immigrated to Quebec, Canada with her mother. What Tamara loved most in life was animals and art. Till this day, these two loves are still very present in her life.

Tamara attained a technical degree in Illustration & Design in 2008. During and following her college studies Tamara would do commissioned paintings which consisted mostly of dogs, cats and portraiture of people. In terms, of personal work, Tamara enjoys depicting nature’s greatest creation, wildlife. In general she is very observant of everyday life where then she tries to incorporate this in her work.

She has been painting for 10 years, at first in acrylic, but she has now been painting primarily in oil for the past seven years. When bringing life to her creations she emphasizes detail and textures to draw on the emotions of her audience through the eyes of her subjects. Tamara considers herself to be a self-taught painter because throughout her studies, painting was not really taught to the students and even then it was only in acrylic.

SeaScapes Art Exhibition Results Now Posted Online

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its September 2014 art exhibition, the 4th Annual “SeaScapes” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online.

Jupiter, FL, USA (September 1, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its September 2014 art exhibition, the 4th Annual “SeaScapes” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is seascapes and artists were asked to submit their best scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects.

An art competition was held in August 2014 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 19 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 38 different states. Overall, there were 647 entries which were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Merit and Special Recognition artists. The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine art photographer Dennis Sabo is their newest featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 16, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very pleased to announce that fine art photographer Dennis Sabo is their newest featured artist. He will now be presented in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next month.

Dennis Sabo, a Loudon, Tennessee resident, is an internationally honored photographer specializing in contemporary abstract, landscape, and seascape photography. His fine art prints interweave his creative compositional expressions and vivid colors into nature’s greater scheme of things. Dennis has refined the photograph into an interpretive collage of colors, and texture.

His award-winning work has appeared in various publications, television, the Internet and institutions, among them NOVA, PBS, National Geographic, Hilton Hotels, Ocean Conservancy, and Blue Planet.

His fine art has been included in solo and group gallery exhibitions at the Blowing Rocks Preserve- Hobe Sound, FL., Arts in the Airport Spring 2011/13 Exhibition-Knoxville, the National Juried Exhibition 2011/13- Knoxville, Red Line Gallery-Farragut, TN, the Emporium-Knoxville, Dogwood Regional Fine Art Exhibition 2012/14, Knoxville, TN, Bliss Home Designs 2013/14, Tomato Head- Knoxville, TN 2012/13, and ongoing at “The Art Market Gallery”, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dennis states about his photography, “I often turn to the masters for inspiration, Monet as a painter, and Elliot Porter as a photographer. I challenge myself to capture common subjects that are often overlooked and then refine the photograph into an interpretive collage of color, motion, and textures. With a global community very much focused on environmental impact and fragile ecosystems, my artwork captures natural images and color with a perspective people easily miss. My interest is in the natural details; how the environment on a particular day, in a particular light, and at a particular moment in time correlates to my personal vision and interpretation of nature”. Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce they have chosen Submittable, the online submission platform, to receive and administer the gallery’s art competition submissions.

Jupiter, FL, USA (June 26, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce they have chosen Submittable, the online submission platform, to receive and administer the gallery’s art competition submissions. This change will become effective July 1, 2014.

Submittable is an international online platform that provides administrative processing of entries for art organizations. Submittable provides these services for most creatives, specializing in writing, film-making, art, photography and grants.

Based in Montana, Submittable was founded in 2009. Presently, they provide administrative services to more than 7,000 organizations. Their website is http://www.submittable.com.

John R. Math, Gallery Director of Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery explains the rationale for this change. “As our online art competitions have become more popular and are now on a large international scale, we want the artists who compete to have their entries administered 24 hours a day. The Submittable platform provides this function efficiently for us”.

Math goes on to say, “We have wanted to upgrade our entry system. In Submittable we’ve found a simple and effective method for artists to participate in our future competitions. In addition, the platform will allow the gallery to employ guest judges and eliminate the server and upload problems that sometimes occur close to the entry deadline”.

Math, continues, “With Submittable’s easy registration (Name and Email Address Only), any artist who registers will be able to access any of their entries, as well as be registered automatically for any other competitions on the Submittable platform. We are very excited about these changes. We believe our artist participants will see the immediate benefits of using the Submittable entry platform”.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 4th Annual “Animals” Online Art Competition for the month of July 2014.

Jupiter, FL, USA (June 22, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces their 4th Annual “Animals” Online Art Competition for the month of July 2014. 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world are called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion into the Gallery’s August 2014 online group exhibition. The gallery encourages entries from artists, regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best “Animal” art. For this theme, Animal art will include mammals, birds and any animals that live in the water.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of August 2014. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places. Also, 5 Honorable Mention places will be awarded. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, Special Merit and Special Recognition awards will also be given as well.
