Joseph Eid Drops “Watch It Fall” Music Video Available April 13!

“Watch It Fall” is the title and focus track from Eid’s recent EP

Los Angeles, CA, April 11, 2018 – On “Watch It Fall,” pop-folk artist Joseph Eidtells the story of a life lived as a spectator, an existence filled with perception, insight, empathy, and, of course, sadness. The song is told from the perspective of someone who’s lived in the same building for years, something they never intended to let happen. And yet, mingled with the regret of a static existence is the beauty of knowing a place so well, and feeling a profound connection with that shared history. Hardships become strengths.

Set to lovely and light guitar strings and a melody which marries quiet joy with melancholy, this is Eid at his most honest. The music video, filmed and directed by Patrick McPherson, brings the vision behind the music to life. On half the screen, we see Eid – on the other, we see what he witnesses: lives unfolding amongst his building’s shared hallways, gardens, and laundry rooms, turning corners and stepping through doorways. From these lives, in this place, he draws inspiration. Even if he isn’t in his ideal place or circumstance, his art blossoms.

On April 13, 2018, you can watch Joseph Eid’s “Watch It Fall,” a touching new video release from one of indie folk’s most thoughtful artists.

Singer/Songwriter Joseph Eid Announces The Release of Americana- Folk Album Human with a Genuine and Soulful Touch

Americana-Folk Singer/Songwriter Joseph Eid has announced the recent release of his first full studio album, Human.

Los Angeles, CA, November 25, 2014 – Americana-Folk Singer/Songwriter Joseph Eid has announced the recent release of his first full studio album, Human. Recommended if you like the Avett Brothers and Ray Lamontagne, Eid has been garnering considerable buzz with his music, recently being named as one of the 100 Hottest Live Unsigned Artists of 2014 by Music Connection Magazine.

VIEW/STREAM LATEST SINGLE, “SOMETHING REAL”

The album’s title track “Human“, displays the pastoral beauty, delicate guitar work, and intricate but relatable lyrics that have become Eid’s trademark. “Human” seamlessly blends sharp, melodic pop lyricism with traditional folk sensibilities evoking folk troubadours both past and present .

The album’s first single “Ready Now”, is propelled by a driving rhythm section , lush instrumentation and an instantly unforgettable hook. “Ready Now,” has surpassed over 20,000 views on YouTube and is the depiction of an animated version of Eid. The song tells a love story in which the man is confused about his beloved one. The storyline is lively presented by Eid’s gentle and narrative voice in the verse parts, and the passionate vocal harmony in the chorus increased the whole song’s intensity and meaning. The use of varied orchestra instruments also added a layer of dramatic effects to the song, giving it a more complicated and intriguing sensation.

Originally born in Liberia to Lebanese parents, Joseph Eid grew up in the suburbs of New York.  He was raised in a strict and traditional home where the arts were only supported as a hobby and never as a career.  During his college years, Eid studied psychology and pre-med but all the while, he was always dreaming about a potential career in music.  After his first semester at med school, the dream got too big to hold and Joseph made the bold choice of dropping out and moving to New York City to pursue music and follow his dream.  He joined a band, picked up a guitar, and the songs poured out like rain.  His journey led him to Los Angeles in 2007 where he started playing regularly at open mikes and showcases.  Shortly after, he began working with world-renowned guitarist/songwriter David Lamar, honing his songwriting at weekly showcases at the Stone Bar, leading the prolific singer/songwriter to write over 30 new songs as well as record his debut EP Cardiac Output.

Known as a dynamic solo performer, Joseph Eid has brought his cathartic one-man live show to many of Los Angeles’ premier music venues, including stints at Room 5 and El Cid.  He has held residencies at the following Hollywood venues:  The Stone Bar, Crane’s Hollywood Tavern, Room 5, and Bar Lubitsch.

Eid recently released a music video of “Something Real,” which is based on a personal experience that also happens to be universal with communication via technology and social media. A visually simple yet emotionally complex music video, “Something Real,” is meant as a commentary on our constant need to be plugged in and how this has changed the way we communicate as well as taken away the value and the weight of words and human connection.  This idea is demonstrated in the video as Eid sings to and tries to connect with lifeless, robotic people. The twist at the end of the video illustrates that no one is immune to the digital disease – including Eid.

Another piece of exciting news for the folk and country lovers is that Eid’s going to release a brand new video for the single “Hit me up” from the album “Human”. This particular song maintained his emotional and well-polished singing and song writing style, and at the same time experimented with country style guitar fill-ins. Every Eid’s video released so far, from the animated himself in ‘Ready now’ to the robotic crowd in ‘Something Real’, had shown an interesting, real-life related story and life lesson. This coming video of his would definitely be worth waiting for.

Singer-Songwriter Joseph Eid set to release Warm and Heartfelt version of “Blue Christmas” with New Video and Single November 4

New Video Release of The Classic Christmas Song Coincides with Guitarist/Vocalist’s Latest Single, ‘Something Real’, from Debut Album,‘Human’.

Los Angeles, CA, November 05, 2014 – A special Christmas combo from Joseph Eid featuring a cover version of the famous Elvis Presley Christmas hit, “Blue Christmas”, and Eid’s recent new video and single, “Something Real”, is going for adds on radio and set for this season’s holiday promotions starting November 10th. Americana-Folk Singer/Songwriter Joseph Eid released his debut full studio album Human in November 2013 and contains the first single, ‘Ready Now.” Eid has been garnering considerable buzz with his music and recently named as one of the 100 Hottest Live Unsigned Artists of 2012 and 2013 by Music Connection Magazine.

Even though, as a legendary and well known Christmas song, “Blue Christmas” has been covered by many outstanding musicians, Eid’s emotional and heartfelt singing style and his refreshing and delicate finger picking guitar sound give a brand new translation to this Christmas hit. As a folk singer/songwriter, Eid knows how to take the best advantage of the pure and clear acoustic sound of a guitar to express his inner world and passion. This version of “Blue Christmas” combined this feature with his emotional and soft male vocal, and the gentle piano fill-ins are like the red cherry on a sundae, making the whole song feels like a warm breeze in the Holiday season. Eid’s release includes not only the sound recording of this song but also a new music video, which will provide new fans and holiday music lovers a musical classic remake as well as a visual into Eid’s world.

“Human,” has been a big breakthrough with professing his craft as a professional musician. Sound of Confusion commented, “Human is a real journey with some touches of magic, all delivered with a charm and craftsmanship that rewards with each play.” The album seamlessly blends sharp, melodic pop lyricism with traditional folk sensibilities evoking folk troubadours both past and present. It overall has a peaceful and soothing feeling, while every song is a strong and passionate self-expression from the artist. The delicate and emotional guitar work and intricate but relatable lyrics has become Eid’s trademark.

The second song from Eid being serviced to radio and media/video outlets is his latest single “Something Real” from his debut album “Human”.
