Now is the time to Invest in Brazil, claims AAA

The analysts at alternative investment advocacy group AAA claim that this is the perfect time to invest in Brazil, with the economy still growing and major sporting events heading its way.

Boston, MA, September 04, 2012 – The analysts at alternative investment advocacy group, Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA) claim that this is the perfect time to invest in Brazil, with the economy still growing and major sporting events heading its way.

“There are a million and one ways to invest in Brazil and cash in on the country’s impressive growth,” claimed AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

He said that Brazil is having an exciting period, with the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup due to be hosted in Rio and elsewhere in 2014 and 2016. As a result of these major events. The country is investing considerable cash into improving its infrastructure – so construction is booming.

Real estate is certainly an asset class that’s worth considering, according to Mr Johnson. Inner cities and beach resorts are set to grow in popularity with tourists who will be flocking to Brazil to enjoy the sport. Rio, in particular is likely to invest huge amounts in improving accommodation over the coming years as the Olympic Committee rated the city very poorly for accommodation and infrastructure – suggesting that there is serious room for growth.

Steel is a booming industry ins response to major infrastructure expansion – including airport construction and expansion as well as bridges, railways and roads. “ the steel industry needs charcoal to operate, “claimed Mr Johnson. He added, “going back a few years, they would have got their charcoal form the native rainforests but this is now frowned upon by the authorities and plantation timber tends top be used instead.

As a result of this, AAA claims that investing in plantations, which are sustainably managed by firms like Greenwood Management, may be a wise move and could generate some very healthy returns for investors. “It’s also very low risk”, added Johnson.

AAA:’now could be the time to invest in Brazilian real estate’

Brazilian property is becoming more affordable to investors from the UK, thanks to the growing strength of the pound Sterling against the Brazilian Real.

Boston, MA, June 21, 2012 – Brazilian property is becoming more affordable to investors from the UK, thanks to the growing strength of the pound Sterling against the Brazilian Real. This is great news for alternative investors who hope to make cash from buying real estate abroad – according to Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA).

A report in Property Wire explains that anyone who is looking to invest in Brazilian property will find that a home that was being sold for £111,000 at the beginning of last year will now be on sale for £90,000. This is the result of the Real losing around 25 per cent of its value against the pound.

The Property Wire report cites Brazilian Finance Minister, Guido Mantega, who said that from a Brazilian point of view, the weaker real is a positive thing. “The weak real is beneficial for the Brazilian economy because it makes Brazilian products more competitive, which means that Brazilian industry can better compete with imported products that become more expensive, and can export more.”

AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson, said, “Investing in Brazil has been an attractive option for alternative investors for several years now and real estate is perhaps one of the most attractive alternative asset classes.”

“Property in the UK is very expensive and those looking to make a healthy return on a real estate investment could do little better than buying property in Brazil at a time when the economy is still more healthy than many other nations, but the currency is falling in value.”

Alternative investments, such as real estate, precious metals, commodities and timberland are all increasingly attractive as the stock markets remain volatile, explained AAA. The alternative investment advocacy group backs ethical investments and impact investments. It claims that investing in sustainable forestry in Brazil, through firms like Greenwood Management, is a good option for those looking to make returns and reduce the risk in their portfolios.

Brazil is a great place to invest, claims AAA

The news that the Brazilian economy has started to outperform many others, including the UK’s, has acted as a prompt for many to start looking for ways to invest in the growing country, according to AAA.

Boston, MA, USA, March 13, 2012 — The news that the Brazilian economy has started to outperform many others, including the UK’s, has acted as a prompt for many to start looking for ways to invest in the growing country, according to Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA).

AAA, an alternative investment advocacy firm, has always seen Brazil as a great place to invest in commodities, such as timber, and in ethical and social funds, through impact investing routes. However, the world is expected to start investing cash in Brazil in droves thanks to the latest figures from the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR).

Over the past ten years, the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China, otherwise known as the BRIC region, have offered a comparatively safe haven for investors keen to avoid investing in the volatile markets in the US and Europe.

Now, the figures show that this is even more the case as Brazil’s economy is officially the sixth largest in the world, leaving the UK in its wake. Analyst at the CEBR claim that within a few years, Brazil’s economy will be stronger than that of France and Germany, climbing further up the ranking of the world’s great economic super powers.

“Although last year’s 2.7 per cent growth wasn’t enormous, in the grand scale of things, Brazil continues to grow economically when many other top economies are still teetering on the edge of recession” explained AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson.

He added, “There has rarely been a better time to invest in emerging economies and investors who want to diversify their portfolios could not do better than investing in sustainable forestry in Brazil.

“We support the plantation projects bin run by firms like Greenwood Management, who are offering a unique and low-entry route into Brazilian investment, with an ethical edge.”

Invest in Timber before House Building Boom, says FRA

Investment site, StreetAuthority.com, claims that there could be money to be made by investing in timber right now, as house building is set to boom in 2013, says Forestry FRA.

Bainbridge Island, WA, March 06, 2012 – Investment site, StreetAuthority.com, claims that there could be money to be made by investing in timber right now, as house building is set to boom in 2013, says Forestry Research Analysis (FRA).

FRA, a research and analysis consultancy, claims that although house building has been very depressed in recent years – with the past three years being the lowest on record for the number of homes built – things could be looking up next year.

Analyst David Sterman, who wrote the article said, “Timber is a highly price-sensitive commodity. When demand marginally outstrips supply, prices can soar.” He added that although many agree that this year will be another slow year for the house building market, 2013 could see a boom, with some analysts claiming that a million new homes will be built in the US between 2014 and 2015.

FRA points out that the article refers to the Guggenheim Timber ETF, which is one of the funds offering forestry investment to those keen to diversify their portfolios with an asset class linked only very loosely to the equity markets. In 2007, Sterman says that the fund is seeing an increase in interest from investors who are once again, seeing timber as a valuable commodity with the potential for massive growth in the coming years.

Sterman said, ‘For example, a 20 per cent upturn in housing construction, coupled with a 30 per cent upward move in timber prices, could yield potentially robust share price gains for these timber producers.’

“This is a great time for timber investments,” claimed FRA’s analysis partner, Peter Collins. He continued “It often represents an ethical option that is a true alternative to stocks and shares at a time when equities look less attractive due to their volatility.”

FRA supports sustainable forestry investment, such as the schemes run by Greenwood Management in Brazil.

FRA: Now’s the time to invest in timber

FRA has signalled its support for a Seeking Alpha claiming that now is a great time to invest in timber.

Bainbridge Island, WA, December 22, 2011 – A recent report from Seeking Alpha claiming that now is a great time to invest in timber, has attracted support from Forestry Research Associates (FRA), an analysis and research consultancy specialising in forestry investment and sustainability.

Although, on the surface, the fact that timber prices have fallen slightly lately could seem like a negative trend for forest investments, FRA supports claims from analyst Kevin McElroy, that this is a great time to buy into the industry. The thinking is that most varieties of timber grown in the North America region are cheaper than they were this time last year. However, the housing market is expected to bottom out very soon and, as a result, prices could soar again before too long.

Wood prices are generally on a growing trend, claims FRA’s analysis partner, Peter Collins who explained, “Between 1987 and 2007, timber’s average return on investment was an impressive 15.7 per cent, far exceeding gains made by those who invested in stocks and shares.”

Mr Collins added, “Forestry is becoming a go-to asset class among savvy investors who are looking to protect their portfolios against risk by opting for an investment that is correlated highly with inflation, but has little correlation with equity markets.”

With widespread predictions that the US housing market will bottom out in 2012, the chance that timber prices could soar off the back of growth within the construction industry, for example, could be too much for investors to resist, claims FRA.

FRA supports investment into sustainable forestry plantations and projects in developing countries, such as the projects run by Greenwood Management. It sees these project as a great way to diversify an investment portfolio while helping to prevent deforestation of some of the world’s most vulnerable and valuable forests. “The plantations of non-native tress that firms like Greenwood crate can offer alternative sources of timber and charcoal to cutting down valuable native forests,” concluded Collins.
