Shake-It-Up! Bar Drinks Re-imagined!

SALEM, N.H. – June 23, 2014 – EvrApps, Inc. announces the availability of its newest iOS App, Shake-It-Up!, available now at the Apple App Store.  The free app allows users to build a bar with what they have on-hand and shows only the drinks they can actually make.

Shake-It-Up! allows users to serve up drinks in a fun Tiki Bar Setting and create their own custom bar by simply touching on the alcoholic or non-alcoholic ingredient and dragging it to their bar.  For their personal Shake-It-Up! experience they can also choose their own look from a variety of Tiki Backgrounds.  Once they create their bar they can touch the Shaker or simply give the device a Shake and Shake-It-Up! will display the drinks they can make.  Once their unique drinks are displayed they will have the option to filter the drinks by type, such as Shot, Punches, Highball, etc. touching the drink will show them to make it.  For that social experience, favorite drinks can be shared with friends and family via Facebook or Twitter!

“My vision was to empower people with a tool that would help them be the hit bartender at the party.  With Shake-It-Up! we did just that!”, said Mike Peters, Program Manager at EvrApps.  Mike continued by saying, “We have found that our users create bars with different ingredients for different reasons. For example, a bar with Mom’s favorite fruity drinks, a bar for Dad’s Whiskey favorites and don’t forget the non-alcoholic ones for grandma. We have truly empowered the bartender.”

With the free version, users will have the ability to create up to 3 bars for family members, friends or any event.  As your bar needs grow, additional bars can be purchased in packs of 3 or 10.  There is also a premium version available which includes the complete Shake-It-Up! Bar Book of over 6,000 drinks and 8 additional backgrounds.

“We understand that a liquor cabinet gets filled with bottles bought once, for some obscure drink,” explained Claudia Skilton, CEO, EverApps.  “With the great features in Shake-It-Up! now no one has to wonder what to do with those bottles, now they can Shake up a drink with what they have.”

Shake-It-Up! is now available to download for free from the Apple App Store. An ad free version can be purchased for $.99 and a premium version is available for $1.99. All versions are compatible with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and require iOS v6.0.1 or later.

Morodo helps to bridge the Digital Divide in China

London – Morodo helps reduce “Digital Divide” by donating a number of high end computers to the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC), which provides relief support in many regions of China to under privileged children.

A recent ruling by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has declared that VoIP services are illegal, except for the ones operated by state-owned telecom operators China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.

China is one of the largest developing countries in the world, with the biggest Internet users in the world, however most outside the major cities still struggle to afford computers and access to the internet.  At the end of the 2010, the number of Internet users stood at more than 420 million. With a population of more than 1.3 billion people, 31% of the population had access to the Internet[1], the majority within city limits. The Red Cross Society of China delivers help to communities outside of the major cities and towns of China.

VoIP services remain illegal in China for Morodo to supply.  VoIP calling services like MO-Call, allow users to make free or cheap international calls for much less than traditional telephone or mobile providers. “Morodo’s donation to the RCSC will not only help underprivileged kids to access basic computer services such as the Internet and E-mail, we also hope in a couple years time the Chinese Government levels the playing field to allow companies like Morodo to participate in the Chinese market” stated Andrew Reid, Morodo’s CEO.
