Australian natural healthcare company Rapid Nutrition has announced its intention to list on the Deutsche Börse’s Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Nerang, Queensland, February 20, 2012 – Rapid Nutrition, whose flagship product Leisa’s Secret, a set of scientifically formulated weight loss and maintenance supplements, has already achieved considerable success both in Australia and overseas.
The company’s managing director, Simon St Ledger, says Rapid Nutrition is now in a position to be able to list on an exchange, and the Deutsche Börse offered the best option for international expansion.
“Rapid Nutrition’s listing will provide the necessary capital to support our international expansion plans, particularly into our target market in the United States,” Mr St Ledger says.
“The Deutsche Börse is the world’s largest stock exchange by market capitalisation and provides access to a global market.
“It will also give us access to a much larger consumer base so all these factors make it an attractive option to become a publicly listed company.”
Rapid Nutrition has appointed corporate advisors Stepping Stone Equity to complete the listing process in conjunction with a German market maker to list through the exchange’s entry standard.
Mr St Ledger says Rapid Nutrition successful and profitable track record over the past 10 years has enabled it to build a sizeable export market with registration, contracts and sales within several key regions through the Middle East, Asia and Europe, however liquidity in the company is required for further expansion.
“While we have achieved considerable domestic and international success to date, we are now focussing our energies on the US market which will give us a far greater opportunity to further our expansion plans,” Mr St Ledger says.
“We are already well underway with negotiations for a number of partner agreements and distribution channels in this market.
“Our listing strategy will provide us with both the capital and opportunities to continue our research and development and expansion of our product range and help to secure our place as a dominant player in the health and wellbeing industry worldwide.”
The listing proposal will be presented to Rapid Nutrition shareholders for final approval in the coming weeks with the aim of a company roll up into a UK based public limited company to be completed soon after.
