7th Annual “Figurative” Art Competition Announced by Art Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 7th Annual “Figurative” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of March 2017.

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 7th Annual “Figurative” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of March 2017. The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photographers) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s April 2017 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field. We suggest they send the gallery their best interpretation of the theme “Figurative” by depicting the human form and human features. “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and faces. We will accept art on this subject that is either representational or abstract, but please, do not submit any erotic art. The deadline to apply to this art competition is March 27, 2017.

Winners of the “Figurative” Art Exhibition will receive extensive worldwide publicity in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, event announcement posts and social media marketing. Our goal is to make the art world aware of the exhibition and in particular, the winning artists’ accomplishments. Links back to each artist’s website is included as part of this award package.

Artists will also receive a digital Award Certificate, Event Postcard, Press Releases and “Leveraging Your Success” marketing materials if they place in this exhibition.

Figurative 2016 Art Exhibition Results Now Online & Ready to View

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2016 art exhibition, the 6th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online.

Jupiter, FL, USA — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2016 art exhibition, the 6th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is figurative art and artists were asked to submit their best nonobjective or representational art for this competition.

An international competition was held in June 2016 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 26 different countries and also received entries from 33 different states. Overall, 612 entries were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Merit and Special Recognition artists. The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

Jupiter, FL, USA (July 2, 2015) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its July 2015 art exhibition, the 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online. The theme for this art exhibition is figurative and this is considered to be figures, forms and faces. Artists were asked to submit their best nonobjective or representational art for this competition.

An international art competition was held in June 2015 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 21 different countries and also received entries from 37 different states. Overall, 643 entries were judged for this art competition. The Guest Judge for this competition was Mary Kee, Principal and Creative Director of TheArtGuide.com. Below are some of her thoughts on this competition and her rationale for selecting the art for each media category.

“When a painting or photograph grabs your attention and you feel the need for a closer look, what are you reacting to? The responses will vary, but an eye-catching experience was the incentive for my review of the Light Space & Time’s 5th Annual “Figurative” Art Competition….”

The gallery urges all 2D artists to submit their best “Figurative” art for possible inclusion into the gallery’s May 2014 online group art exhibition.

The gallery would like for all 2D artists (including photography) to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Figurative” by depicting the human form or human features. “Figurative” is considered to be figures, forms and faces. We will accept art on this subject that is either representational or abstract, but please, do not submit any erotic art.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of May 2014. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places and in addition 5 artists will be recognized with Honorable Mention awards. Depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, these winning categories may be expanded and there also may be Special Merit and Special Recognition awards posted as well.
