March 22, 2011 – When It Comes to Instilling Life to Your Home and Providing a Personal Touch to the Overall Ambience, Carol Chipkin Paintings Are the Ideal Option for You
Clean, smooth surfaces, and a minimalist, uncluttered appearance define contemporary style interior design. The modern look we go for these days differs in so many ways from the finical interiors favored by our forerunners, but contemporary design doesn’t necessarily have to involve stripping a home of its personality, intimacy, comfort and hospitality.
Although modern style is just as rich and broad as its traditional equivalent, we recognize three common elements in most contemporary-styled homes: cool, muted color palettes, smooth, fluid textures, and clear, simple, uncluttered surfaces. While this trend is often effective in conferring a home a neat, modern look while preserving its welcoming nature and authenticity, overdoing things can result in a sterile, cold and formal, almost office-like ambience rather than a family home.
If you feel that your home is trapped in this stereotype too, and you want to restore its vitality, hospitality and warmth, one of the best ways to achieve that is with color. Bringing a few accents of color to your interiors or resuscitating the visual vibe by introducing several pieces of contemporary art in the setting can do wonders. If you blend them in tastefully, original and colorful paintings become your best tools for adding interest to what would otherwise be a plain looking room.
When it comes to instilling life to your home and providing a personal touch to the overall ambience, Carol Chipkin paintings are the ideal option for you. Her original, fresh and colorful artwork provides a great way to cheer up and put the finishing touch to any interior, no matter how big or how small, and regardless of its purpose.
Nourishing a fervent passion for nature and decorative art, Carol Chipkin is mostly popular for her elaborate, colorful and highly original nature paintings. Carol likes to experiment with her work and to push the limits of conventional interior design art as she ingeniously combines various mediums – i.e. cold pressed watercolor paper with layered colored tissue paper and textured materials – to enhance the expressivity of the nature-inspired themes she portrays.
