Most people say they are passionate about photography. Pam will straight out tell you “I am an obsessive photographer”. When she is not working making money doing photography she is out doing her own personal landscape, wildlife and nature photography.

Pam is very well known for her dynamic images with brilliant colors. With a gift for perfect composition and the ability to find interesting subject matter she is able to create fascinating images that many call breath-taking. “When everyone goes to the right, you will find me to over of the left.” Perspective and unique angles makes her work stand out above others. She travels to many places that are highly photographed so she spends much of the time setting up her shots looking for an angle that no one else has ever achieved. “Hiking deep into the wilderness it is easy to get a unique shot but when you stand at Jordon Pond in Acadia National Park, you have to do something no one else is doing.”

Pam owns Extra Eyes Photo Tours and teaches her photography in many locations throughout the USA and Canada. She also has photography classes running in local parks in N.J. and N.Y. from April to November on the weekends. Several photographers work for her teaching classes. She welcomes all levels on her tours throughout the USA and Canada. Pam’s website is http://www.extraeyesphototours.com.

Kristi Richter is now in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that artist Kristi Richter is their newest featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (October 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that artist Kristi Richter is their newest featured artist. Kristi will now be presented in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase section for the next month.

Kristi Richter was born and grew up in Chicago and now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Art has always been a priority, and she owes her zealous interest due to her grandfather, who was a professional commercial artist and had a studio in Chicago. Her mother was also an artist, so she inherited talent from both sides of the family.

Kristi followed an art curriculum through high school, but it was when she attended The American Academy of Art and Chicago Academy of Fine Arts respectively, that she really started to understand her potential and how to express it. Her studies introduced her to the many facets of art such as advertising, illustration, calligraphy, photography, scratchboard, abstract, design, charcoal drawing with live models, and color schemes. Over time, she was able to recognize her weaknesses and sought ways to improve them, and she solidified her strengths.

Kristi’s favorite medium is acrylics because they blend easily, dry quickly and the colors are opulent and vibrant. Most of her work is done in acrylics and has included pet portraits, posters and advertisements that are animal-related. She has also written and illustrated a children’s book about a dog which she would like to publish.

Kristi’s definitive objective is to start a business exclusively doing pet portraits or a favorite wildlife creature rendered in acrylics, scratchboard, watercolor, abstract, and cartoon. She has designed a business card and advertising poster and her logo is “Kristi’s Kritters”. Kristi can be reached at keddywumpus@yahoo.com.

I find intrigue in allowing the camera to record the complexities of the subject, never certain of what details and secrets might emerge. Classic and rich, sepia toned images reminiscent of an earlier time, have always been a passion of mine. So too are bold, stimulating, contemporary black and white images. I strive for intimacy, seeking to explore, embrace and define that which the camera captures. I am reminded each time I peer through the viewfinder of the magical power the camera possess, and its limitless capacity to engage, surprise and reveal a new perspective on the familiar.”?

Frances Marino is in Gallery’s Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is proud to announce that Frances Marino is the Gallery’s new featured artist.

Jupiter, FL, USA (March 15, 2014) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is proud to announce that Frances Marino is the Gallery’s new featured artist. Frances was originally born in Buffalo New York and in 1974 she moved to Boulder Colorado in order to live in the wide open spaces. 30 years later, in 2005, her life would take a turn into the art world.

In 2005, Frances began to think what she would like to do when she would retire in 10 years’ time. She realized that art was always something that she had enjoyed dabbling in, by going to art shows and art openings. With that realization, she decided to take a couple of drawing classes at the local Front Range Community College by starting out with a watercolor class. From that experience, Frances decided to take a pastel class at the Colorado Art Academy and with that, pastels quickly became her favorite medium.

In 2008 Frances decided that she wanted to expand into abstracts and she took a class with the artist Gwen Fox, thus, it was her first experience with acrylics which she tends to use more of these days.

Frances tells this story about her art, “Someone told me once that I will never be famous because my art is all over the place without a certain style and people will not be able to recognize my art. Being famous is not my goal. My goal is to create pieces of art that people would love to hang on their walls. So I continue to paint what moves me and I never know how the painting will turn out until I am finished with it. But then again, I can’t say if one of my paintings is ever finished or whether it is just abandoned for the moment.”

She continues her thoughts, “The world of art has been a great place to land for my next career with even I not knowing where my next painting will come from or how it will show up on the canvas. I find it’s all a mystery to me.” Frances’s website is http://www.frances-marino.artistwebsites.com.

Art Gallery Names Lara Bardsley for Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Australian artist Lara Bardsley is now the gallery’s featured artist and she will now be showcased and promoted for the next 30 days.

Jupiter, FL, USA (November 16, 2013) — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Australian artist Lara Bardsley is now the gallery’s featured artist and she will now be showcased and promoted for the next 30 days.

Lara lives and creates her art in Melbourne, Australia and she has spent 20 years refining her art practice through studies at Victorian College of the Arts, the La Trobe School and also through mentorships with professional artists. Lara’s practice spans different mediums including film, photography and painting. Each of her works is designed to inspire and reaffirm the beauty and transcendent that exists in the everyday.

Lara states this about her art, “I believe that some things cannot be spoken, only felt and perhaps alluded to through the arts. I completed Masters in Psychology 18 years ago. The experience was formative in that it catapulted me to further my interest to explore the unseen and the unconscious. I have explored these themes further in undertaking training in Jungian and Transpersonal psychology and practicing and exploring Buddhism, meditation and mindfulness practices.”

She continues her thoughts, “It is both an honor and a challenge to be in the unique position to bear witness to the way we seek to find meaning in our lives and my artwork attempts to source and explore my understanding of these themes in visual form.”

Lara also completes her thoughts on her art, “I am drawn to work of Abstract Expressionists such as Mark Rothko, Gerhard Richter and the alignment of the human and the Divine in the works of Gustav Klimt, the free gestural language of Twombly, Monet, Kline, among many others. In my own work, I often create images in black and white, distilling movement, light and urgency from the feeling of stillness and unity which I may represent as a gold leaf panel. My images may appear immediate or primitive as they emerge from my inner world. I strive to work a balance between informing the work and allowing it to guide me where it wants to go.”

Lara’s wonderful and vibrant website can be seen here: http://www.larabardsley.com.
