2nd Annual All Women Art Competition Announced by Gallery

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an “All Women” Juried Art Competition for the month of January 2013.

Jupiter, Florida, USA – December 20, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an “All Women” Juried Art Competition for the month of January 2013. The gallery urges all 2D (women only) artists to submit their best art for inclusion into the gallery’s February 2013 online group exhibition.

The gallery would like to be able to exhibit only the best art that is submitted by women artists only. Women can submit any 2D media, in any style and about any subject matter. Women are encouraged to submit their art regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field.

A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of February 2013. Awards will be for 1st through 5th places and in addition 5 artists will be recognized with Honorable Mention awards. Depending on the amount and the quality of the entries, these winning categories may be expanded and there also may be Special Recognition awards posted as well. The submission process and the deadline is January 27, 2013.

Winning artists of the “All Women” Art Exhibition will receive extensive worldwide publicity and promotion in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, 75+ event announcements, and social media marketing in order to make the art world aware of the artist’s accomplishments. In addition, there will also be links back to the artist’s website as part of this achievement and hopefully to help drive traffic back to the artist’s website.

Art Gallery Announces Bob Craig in Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very pleased to announce that Canadian artist Bob Craig is now in the gallery’s Artist Showcase.

Jupiter, Florida, USA – December 15, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very pleased to announce that Canadian artist Bob Craig is now in the gallery’s Artist Showcase. Bob has exhibited at LST for several years and is a regular participant in the gallery’s art competitions.

Bob Craig is a Western Canadian artist whose path in the fine arts has led him to a unique expression of mood and color through collage and mixed media. He has explored numerous forms of art and craft: painting in watercolor and oils, sculpture and pottery, the latter selected for exhibit at Habitat 76: United Nations Conference on Human Settlements, Vancouver.

Since graduating with a degree in Art Education from the University of Alberta, Bob has worked as an art teacher in Alberta and British Columbia and in restoration at the Royal Ontario Museum.

Bob thinks of himself as a craftsman, constructing, or interpreting imagery from his conscious and subconscious mind. Bob’s work has appeared in juried exhibits and galleries in Canada (Vancouver and Montreal), Italy, Spain, Portugal, Crete, the United States (New York), New Zealand and Switzerland where his exhibition piece. After Treaty Seven, took first prize in the free subject media category at SEETAL 2006. Art Gallery Announces That the Seasons Art Exhibition is Now Online

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very delighted to announce that its December 2012 online art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online.

Jupiter, Florida, USA – December 2, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is very delighted to announce that its December 2012 online art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Seasons” and artists were asked to interpret and depict the four distinct times of the year, along with scenes and activities associated with those seasons in their art.

An international online art competition was held in November 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 13 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 31 different states. Overall, there were 401 entries from 131 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

Congratulations to all of the artists who have been designated as this month’s category winners, along with the winning Special Recognition artists. The gallery commends all of the winning artists for their artistic skill and their creativity, as this online art exhibition is indicative of their creativity.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 2nd Annual “All Photography” juried art competition for the Month of December 2012.

Art Gallery Announces Stephen Dobson Now in Artist Showcase

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very pleased to announce that fine art painter Stephen Dobson is now the gallery’s featured artist.

Jupiter, Florida, USA – November 16, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very pleased to announce that fine art painter Stephen Dobson is now the gallery’s featured artist and he will be presented in the Light Space & Time’s Artist Showcase for the next 30 days.

Stephen Dobson was originally born in Manchester, England prior to immigrating to Canada at a young age and is a self-taught artist who loves painting. He is a very prolific artist who developed a signature style early in his career and was invited to join the Stave Falls Artist Group becoming one of the original members in the group.

Stephen works primarily with oil paints, striving to find light and color using confident brushwork and commonly uses pallet knives and his fingers while painting. He always tries to express his feelings about what he paints and hopes to bring the observer closer to his thoughts about the people, places and things he observes in his daily life and especially in the way people interact with each other and their surroundings.

Stephen has had all of his submitted works accepted by the American Art Awards and has won a number of 1st and 3rd place awards in a variety of Painting categories for the last three years. This is a competition open to all artists from around the world and is juried by 25 well respected galleries, across the United States.

Stephen enjoys travelling throughout the area he lives in Southern British Columbia and especially the City of Vancouver and the Upper and Lower Fraser Valley where he always discovers something fresh to paint. Stephen’s original paintings can be viewed in his home studio located in Mission, British Columbia. Art Gallery Announces Michael Schertz as Featured Artist

Jupiter, Florida, USA – October 15, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very proud to announce that fine art photographer Michael Schertz is now the gallery’s featured artist and he will be presented in the Light Space & Time’s Artist Showcase for the next 30 days.

Since Michael’s initial entry into the 2011 Abstracts Art Competition he has entered into several different LST art competitions. As indicative of Michael’s photographic skill and talent, he has placed in every LST competition that he has entered. Most recently, Michael received an Honorable Mention award for his photograph titled “Griz Up Close” in the Gallery’s 2012 Animals Art Competition. He also received a 3rd Place award his “Spray Park Trail” image in the Gallery’s All Photography Art Competition which was conducted in September 2011.

Michael states that, “Our dynamic earth’s natural places are in constant state of change. The images reflected here are merely semblances of what will be in the decades to come. A capture of just a moment in the journey that provided me with inspiration and I hope it fosters it in you as well. It is my aspiration and goal to create Fine Art Photography images. A Fine Art Photograph is a culmination of inspired artistry and my technical proficiency. The integration of technical and artistry provides the viewer with a memorable experience. The lack of either component can leave the viewer missing the vision and intent of the image.”

It is Michael’s passion to view and record the dynamic and amazing natural world as he tries to capture the moment and share with others the light and magic that he sees and experiences on his adventures. The subject for this art exhibition is “Open” (No Theme) and artists were asked to submit their best representational and non-representational art.

An art competition was held in September 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. An art competition was held in August 2012 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. Overall, there were 619 entries from 177 different artists that were judged for this art competition.

Jupiter, Florida, USA – August 16, 2012 — Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is very proud to announce that Durga Garcia, a Florida based fine art photographer is now our featured artist and she will be presented in the Gallery’s Artist Showcase for the next 30 days.

Durga Garcia is a published, International Award winning and merited photographer of fine art images. Durga is a freelance professional photographer of intimate portraits, Art for Artists, Events & Projects.

Durga brings a most uncommon background to her pictures, with a past that has had her live in many countries and across America, working as a racehorse trainer, steeplechase jockey, show jumper, equine veterinary paramedic, art appraiser, yoga teacher and member of the U.S. International Pistol Team.

Durga has parlayed her many years of experience as a certified art appraiser into a special talent for conveying those nuanced details while keeping her senior fine art appraisal accreditations, from both the America Society of Appraisers and the International Society of Appraisers current.

She manages the first year for a Guide Dog in training, often working with one at her side. She is a wife of a U.S. Marine/football referee and mother to 4 awesome daughters.

Currently, she holds positions as the Curator of Exhibitions at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre, is the Staff photographer at the Lighthouse Art Center and works with the Jonathan Dickinson Park & Canine Assist Therapy.
