Parfitts Interiors Ltd of Gordon Street, Pembroke Dock have stepped into the breach at the last minute to help and answer an SOS from the hit BBC TV Series DIY SOS Production team after another previously appointed company was unable to do so.
Parfitt’s Interiors Managing Director, Mr James Parfitt explained, “We have previously helped the DIY SOS team on several occasions and I recently took a call from their production team to ask if we could step in at the last moment and help them help a local west Wales family. Obviously, given our excellent relationship with the BBC series and as a company with a strong community ethic, we were delighted to do so.”
Mr Parfitt went on to say, “We have a long and proud history of being reliable & working to tight deadlines and paying strict attention to health & safety guidelines. All of this when combined to a strong commitment to high quality workmanship has made us an ideal partner to DIY SOS in the past and as their recent call to ourselves show’s this feeling is matched by the DIY SOS production team toward Parfitt’s Interiors.”
The Pembroke Dock based company have worked with the BBC’s DIY SOS programme makers on two previous occasions, helping local families in Fishguard and in Pembroke Dock. Now the company plans to aid a family from Aberystwyth who are in desperate need of a home renovation and decoration.

Parfitts Interiors staff will be attending the Aberystwyth based property on Friday 10th December 2010 to conclude their work there. The DIY SOS programme featuring this family will be broadcast on the BBC sometime in 2011. The production team have promised to inform Parfitts Interiors when this will be shown.
