SAFE International Announces Launch of “SAFE International Self Defense Blog”

SAFE International Self Defense would like to announce the launch of their new blog, “SAFE International Self Defense Blog”.

Toronto, ON, March 17, 2014 – (Straight Line PR)- SAFE International Self Defense would like to announce the launch of their new blog, “SAFE International Self Defense Blog“. SAFE International is a leader in mobile personal protection/self defense instruction. They have taught more than 180,000 women since 1994. SAFE International specializes in women’s self defense parties, high school self defense, corporate self defense, as well as private self defense. What makes SAFE International so effective is that they don’t just teach the physical side of self defense but also the psychological and emotional sides.

What will you find on the self defense blog? SAFE International will be covering all aspects of women’s self defense. There will be articles on the most important topic, which is how to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations. There will be blogs on who an attacker chooses as their victim, and why they choose them. Have you ever wondered about how to handle specific self defense scenarios such as being attacked on an elevator? This will just be one of many self defense tips will be offered on. Other topics will include car safety, home safety, distraction techniques an attacker will use, as well as how being too polite can be dangerous, plus much, much more.

Also included in the self defense blog, will be intelligent verbal strategies to deal with potential violence. There is no one solution to deal with violence and this is very true in regards to verbally dealing with an attacker or aggressive person. Many blogs will deal with the unique safety concerns of particular professions such as health care workers, real estate agents, plus others who deal with the public. But most importantly we will offer tips and advice to the average person who may face violence.

And for many most importantly, the physical self defense lessons will be discussed on the Self Defense Blog. Many of the articles will explore the differences between karate/martial arts and real world violence. You will be given tips and YouTube videos that will explain and demonstrate some basic, but highly effective self defense concepts.

SAFE International is gaining world-wide recognition for their self defense philosophies and the SAFE International Self Defense Blog is a great way to explore these philosophies if you never get the chance to participate in one of their seminars.

Once again, Walt discovers that very little in his world is black and white.

Christina Jones of Independence, Mo. writes, “Thrills, laughter, suspense and a new philosophical topic to ponder satisfyingly come together in Lady Justice and the Organ Traders, the 16th volume in the Robert Thornhill’s Lady Justice Mystery/Comedy Series.

Formerly a real estate agent, Walt is now a senior citizen who works with the Kansas City Police Department to fulfill his lifelong dream of helping Lady Justice rid the world of bad guys. Once again, Walt finds that the world is made of shades of gray rather than the black & white we wish it could be. Thornhill weaves an engaging storyline around the complex moral issues surrounding the growing black market trading of healthy organs (specifically kidney in this story). Grassroots Idea by Ecotech Institute Student Inspires Float in The Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade

About 150 students, staff and friends expected to participate in the parade to make it truly “green”

Denver, CO, March 13, 2014 – Chris Stevens, an Ecotech Institute student, wanted to help pick up recycling along The Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade route in order to keep this favorite green holiday truly as “green” as possible. He took his idea to parade organizers and from there it turned into a float in the parade that could gather recycling along the route. Students and staff at Ecotech Institute rallied around Chris and today they are making final preparations on the float, which will include a student made recycling bin to collect all recyclables collected during the parade, a truck outfitted with solar panels and a wind turbine.

“It has been remarkable watching my vision come to life,” said Chris. “I originally just wanted to help pick up trash and it’s turned into so much more. Building our Eco-Float has been an exciting adventure that brought several students together in great ways and I’m so proud of what we’ve put together. Our efforts will keep the parade route much cleaner.”

Ecotech Institute is the first and only school in the U.S. that is solely dedicated to sustainable energy, such as solar and wind. Chris is pursuing a degree in electrical engineering technology and will graduate this April. For him, this idea was simple, but sends a powerful message.

“We have to care about not only where our energy is coming from as we look ahead, but also how we’re taking care of our planet today. Small changes can make a difference and we’re excited to help divert trash from the landfill – giving it a second life,” said Chris.

To see images of the float’s progress you can keep up with the construction team by following Ecotech’s social media updates on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/EcotechInstitute and Twitter at @Ecotech_Inst.

Ecotech Institute, based in Aurora, Colo., currently offers eight associate’s degree programs:

* Facility Management Technology
* Energy Efficiency
* Solar Energy Technology
* Wind Energy Technology
* Renewable Energy Technology
* Electrical Energy Technology
* Power Utility Technician
* Business Administration – Sustainability.

DAD Technology. Optimizing Work in BPM

DAD (Dynamically Activated Divisions) Technology, recognized by the analyst firm Gartner Inc. as an innovative functionality, is used to create user-friendly Dynamic Forms

Woburn, MA, March 07, 2013 – AURA (www.auraportal.com), a global provider of AuraPortal. Business Process Management (BPM) software, has announced that the latest developments in DAD Technology that have been incorporated exclusively in AuraPortal BPM clearly differentiate it from other BPMs, creating a fluency in its use unheard of until now.

AuraPortal has been distinguished with great advantage over its competitors by Ovum in its Decision Matrix report and by other renowned analyst firms.

In short, the idea of DAD Technology is that anyone performing a task within a process will find that, on opening it, the information will appear in a timely fashion depending on the direction the task itself takes and the circumstances or options that are progressively chosen. This functionality enables maximum effectiveness and an extraordinary saving in execution time.

Manel Orovio, Technical Director at AuraPortal, comments:

“A common problem for those who work with BPM Suites is the fact that the forms often contain hundreds of fields to cover all of the possible scenarios that may occur throughout the task execution, although, depending on various circumstances, the performer of the task may only need to see or act on a few of them. If the user has to look at hundreds of fields that they are not going to use it can make their work cumbersome, and can also lead to multiple execution errors.

With DAD Technology, as the performer executes the task, the system makes the elements appear in the form automatically as and when needed. This greatly simplifies work.

The person responsible for designing the Task form should make it as user friendly as possible, so that on opening it, the user will find a form that contains all the data and documents necessary for them to carry out their work without having to leave the Task. Thus maximum effectiveness is achieved.”

This is a 19 percent increase from 2012. The Clean Jobs Index classifies clean energy jobs based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics description, which says that a clean job is part of a business that benefits the environment or conserves natural resources.

Ecotech Institute, the only college entirely focused on renewable energy and sustainability training, created the Clean Jobs Index to provide objective job information about the renewable energy industry. Ecotech Institute’s Clean Jobs Index is an aggregation of statistics by state. Although it may indicate a greater possibility for employment in the clean economy sector, the Clean Jobs Index in no way indicates the presence or the promise of any specific job opportunities. Data for the Index is gathered regularly from independent research entities including: American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency, U.S. Energy Information Administration, U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Green Building Council.

ParaZapper realigns, updates zapper product line, and moves some websites

ParaZapper Hulda Clark Zapper and Rife Frequency Zapper products have been moved to huldaclarkparazapper.com while the book “Parasite Zapping and the Zapper” remains available from paradevices.com/

Pinson, AL, March 07, 2014 – Hulda Clark introduced the original zapper back in the early 1990’s in her book, “Cure for all Diseases”, and since then, it has grown in popularity and use all over the world. ParaZapper products from Para Systems, Inc. in Pinson, Al produces top of the line zappers and makes them available to the public at reduced prices.

ParaZapper’s top of the line zapper, the ParaZapper MY is available at the new site as is the ParaZapper UZI-3 and the economical midrange ParaZapper CC2. The new site also offers the Eliminator line of Frequency Generators for those who wist to do serious frequency specific research.

ParaZapper MY model. This zapper which has a total of 80 frequencies in 20 modes selection with better accuracy is designed to perform better than its predecessors. Due to its crystal operation, the MY has very tight frequency tolerance at most frequencies. In addition to the increased mode selections, the new ParaZapper™ MY model has a superior zapping ability able to more effectively kill microbes due to multi frequency operation. The MY model has a distinct specific frequency feature that allows specific frequencies to run for sufficient time. Also, the use of technology introduced by Dr. Hulda Clark combined with Rife Frequencies provides assurance of increased coverage for many pathogenic microbes.

These models employ the constant current or current controlled output technology which is better, safer output that meets Dr. Clark’s recommendations. Other cutting edge features found in the Hulda Clark ParaZapper that are not present in other devices in the market include:

a) Multiple modes of operation

b) Multiple frequencies

c) Automatic rest period: this model presents a selectable automatic 20 minute rest periods between cycles. Though not one of the Dr. Clark recommendations, this is technology gives an upper hand in zapping.

d) Good connection indicators: in this product, the status indicator serves as s good connection indicator with the changing colors without reducing that output.

e) Larger contacts: this provides a greater amount of electrical signal to produce greater effectiveness than would be achieved with smaller contacts.

f) Does not need different modules for different uses

“We introduced multiple frequency zappers because they can reach more organisms, and the MY model is the latest in the market with amazing capabilities in killing microbes” said CEO David Etheredge.

One of the most popular zappers is the Terminator style zappers and these are very popular for their convenience. According to David Etheredge, “These zappers are limited because of two features. First, these electrodes are only about the size of a penny, which is way too small, causing skin burns, even holes in the skin from usage. Additionally, these electrodes are right next to each other, essentially shorting out much of the signal.” People who have tried both zappers, while they still like the convenience of the Terminator, prefer the effectiveness offered by the best ParaZapper products.”

The best results come from using a 4 point contact system with one negative contact and 3 positive contacts. In some cases, using this configuration with paddles and pads can almost double effectiveness and satisfaction.

Para Systems Inc., the maker of the positive offset zapping products as specified by Dr. Clark such as the ParaZapper™ CC2, ParaZapper™ UZI-3, and the new ParaZapper™ MY model. For more information on pricing and delivery, visit Hulda Clark Zapper Co. at http://huldaclarkparazapper.com .

San Diego Down Syndrome Book Drive Event

San Diego Down Syndrome needs your used books, cd’s and DVD’s to help raise funds for our Spring Festival which will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st 2014.

Lakeside, CA, March 06, 2014 – San Diego Down Syndrome needs your used books, cd’s and DVD’s to help raise funds for our Spring Festival which will celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st 2014.

Our grand event will be funded by your donations and will be a completely free event for all individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Join West Jet, Costco and Mc Donald’s in supporting this event.

21 March 2014 marks the 9th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day and each year the voice of people with Down syndrome, and those who live and work with them, grows louder. But there is still so much more we can do.

For WDSD 2014, SDDS is focusing on:

“Health and Wellbeing – Access and Equality for All”

All people with Down syndrome have the right to access healthcare when required on an equal basis with others without discrimination and with proper assessment of the specific health needs of the individual. We will be highlighting that:

Having Down syndrome does not make a person unhealthy.

Down syndrome is a genetic condition, not an illness.

People with Down syndrome may have health issues throughout their lives, just like everyone else and they should have access to healthcare on an equal basis with others.

There are specific known health issues which may affect people with Down syndrome, for which accurate, evidence based information is available.

Health professionals should be aware of these specific issues when treating a person with Down syndrome.

Health professionals should not discriminate against people with Down syndrome by:

refusing to treat them;

blaming health issues on Down syndrome in general, or;

considering only specific known health issues which may affect people with Down syndrome.

Whatever you plan to do, lets create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome on 21 March.
