March 11, 2011 – In the highly competitive and quality conscious Alberta region, Keystone has emerged as a test lab Alberta has needed for a long time to provide reliable and world class testing solutions for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and the natural health product industries. Keystone is one of the few contract labs in Alberta that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and provides high quality testing solutions for its clients.
Keystone is situated within the Edmonton Research Park and serves as a contract lab Alberta, with Calgary and other adjoining areas included. The testing facilities of Keystone are divided into three distinct divisions. There is a Level 2 Microbiology Lab where all experiments with live organisms are conducted. The sterility lab is a controlled environment dedicated to sterility testing and the third space is the analytical lab. All experimentations which do not require live organisms or a sterile environment are carried out in this area.
Keystone partnered with NuRx Services as an important part of the organizations service launch in Western Canada. NuRx is a business unit forming a part of the Life Sciences Division of the Alberta Innovates Technology Futures. Keystone is dedicated to providing support in the research and advancement of Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical products and in the development of new human healthcare products.
Our testing formalities require that before any work is accepted we ensure that we will be able to meet the task in terms of the availability of necessary equipment, manpower and the time frame within which the test results are needed. Once the work is accepted, Keystone Labs will assign a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to your project to communicate all matters pertaining to job timelines and details. The SPOC is responsible for following-up with all client concerns before testing commences, during testing progress and after delivery of final results.
