Toronto (ON), Canada — Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of Output Factory 1.5.48, a feature update to its solution to automate printing, exporting and preflighting from Adobe InDesign. Output Factory lets printers, ad agencies and publishing houses worldwide automate and simplify their output workflow and easily repurpose InDesign files for the web and mobile devices.

The new version adds the ability to resolve InDesign file aliases internally, which allows users to add symbolic links directly to the app’s queue instead of the original files. This feature is especially useful when users prefer to gather file aliases from InDesign documents in different folders in one place in order to add them all at once to the Output Factory’s queue without the need to make physical copies.

“Output Factory has been the single biggest time-saver I’ve encountered in years of print production,” says Mike Agate, Production Manager of Which?, Europe’s largest consumer rights organization. “With the reduction in head count and efficiency savings, it must have paid for itself 500 times over.”

With Output Factory users only need to select InDesign files, adjust workflow settings, and the software will do the rest automatically. Built-in preflighting ensures that no output errors will be left unnoticed. The program supports all popular output formats and offers the following key features:

-Output multiple InDesign files with a single click
-Supports print, PDF, PostScript, EPS, TIFF, HTML and other formats
-Export as single pages
Layer versioning
-Output to several formats at once
-Variable output file names
-Automatic preflight
-Detailed output history

Pricing and Availability:
Output Factory can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$169.95 (Light version $120, Server $700), as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial is also available for download. WorldSIM launches a new international SIM card that ends roaming charges for travellers worldwide

LONDON, March 24, 2016 — /EPR NETWORK/ — Finally the extortionate roaming charges travellers face when they go abroad has become a thing of the past. Roaming experts, WorldSIM have launched a new smart international SIM card that allows international travellers to pay the same rates as locals when they travel overseas. Importantly, users can also roam on their existing number with the use of WorldSIM’s virtual phone number service.

In Canada and Mexico, a call back to the US is just 22 cents and it’s free to receive calls. What’s really impressive is that WorldSIM offers international travellers going further afield very low rates as well. In Europe data rates start from 15 cents per MB and so do calls. Incoming calls are free in 95 of the most popular international destinations. The service remains a prepaid service and no subscriptions are required. Just recharge when you need more credit.

The new WorldSIM international sim card also offers roaming in more destinations than most operators worldwide. With their new release sim card, 25 new roaming destinations have been added bringing the total to 195 roaming countries. This means travellers can now stay connected for less in more exotic locations like Belize and the Bolivia.

Very soon, WorldSIM will also be launching global bundles, in many destinations travellers will be able to get 1GB of data and unlimited calls for just $30.

This new travel SIM card offers billing in multiple currencies and the technology has been improved to allow the sim to connect automatically to the operators with the best rates and coverage. The roaming SIM works in any unlocked handset and comes triple punched so it fits into all cell phones and tablets.

Arif Reza, CEO at WorldSIM commented “The technology inside our new SIM card is more advanced than ever giving users a simple solution that makes a big difference. With our new line of smart watch phones and WiFi devices you don’t even need to switch SIM cards when you travel.”

With the vacation season approaching thousands of travellers will be hit with unexpected roaming bills and they aren’t the only ones that suffer. Small businesses pay on average $252 per device for bill shock, while larger companies pay up to $395 per device*.

Robert Miller and Future Electronics Observe 10th Anniversary of Montreal Lighting Resource Center

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) March 23, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, led by founder and President Robert Miller, is proud to observe the 10th anniversary of the company’s Lighting Resource Center in Montreal, Quebec.

Opened ten years ago and the first of their kind in the industry, Future Electronics’ Lighting Resource Centers (LRCs) offer unprecedented service and support for customers to develop LED-based applications. The LRCs offer key services including: proof of concept development, LED and system measurements, optical design and simulation, thermal design and simulation, mechanical design and simulation, basic LED board layout design and a tool loaner program. Proof of concept development consists of the LRCs being able to physically validate LED technology in applications – either with application demos, or by integrating LED technology into existing fixtures, including electronics circuit design. LED and System measurements are done in the Optical Measurement Lab, enabling LED and certain application-level characterizations. The LRCs enable customers to leverage the solid-state knowledge and experience of qualified engineers, validate designs with high precision laboratory equipment, and minimize application development cycles.

“Our Lighting Resource Centers provide expertise in every area of LED engineering required for developing LED-based lighting applications,” explained Jamie Singerman, Corporate Vice President Worldwide. “For lighting companies that want to enter the market but don’t have the optical, thermal, power, systems and LED engineering knowledge in-house, our Lighting Resource Centers can be of extraordinary value by reducing development costs and allowing companies to enter the LED lighting market more quickly.”

Singerman added, “Future Electronics‘s investment in these Lighting Resource Centers clearly demonstrates our commitment to enable customers in their quest for better and simpler lighting solutions.”
