Future Electronics and President Robert Miller Announce Annual Spirit of the Holidays Campaign

Pointe Claire, Quebec (realtimepressrelease) December 19, 2016 – Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, has announced a series of events as part of the company’s annual Spirit of the Holidays campaign at its corporate headquarters in Montreal, to raise money benefitting the local community this holiday season.

The campaign includes a company Bake Sale, whereby employees contribute homemade baked goods. There is also a Book Fair and a Food, Toy & Clothing Collection drive. Employees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, new or gently used toys and clothing.

Company President Robert Miller places a high priority on helping to make the world a better place, and urges employees to do the same. All proceeds from the Bake Sale, Book Fair, and Food, Toy & Clothing Drive will be donated to various local charities, including the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the West Island Women’s Shelter, Dans la Rue, and Welcome Hall Mission.

25 Authors Create Fifth Annual Long Island Authors Group Book Fair

Event will showcase award-winning and notable authors from Long Island, New York.

Riverhead, NY (March 29, 2012) — “Have you heard the one about?” asks Long Island Authors Group. “Twenty-five authors walk into a winery…” What does happen when you combine 25 Long Island authors, great Eastern Long Island wines, live entertainment and a free Amazon Kindle eReader drawing? You’ve created the Fifth Annual Long Island Authors Group Book Fair at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, taking place Sunday, April 22 from Noon until 4 PM!

The afternoon includes meet and greet with award-winning Long Island authors, book signings, live music by Hart & Soul, a free drawing for an Amazon Kindle e-Reader and wine tastings. Admission for the rain or shine Book Fair is free.

Long Island Authors to Hold Vineyard Book Fair

More than 20 of Long Island’s best authors will be at Martha Clara Vineyards on Sunday, April 22 from noon until 4 PM.

Riverhead, NY, February 15, 2012 — Long Island Authors’ Group http://www.longislandauthorsgroup.org, will have an array of authors whose works include fiction and non-fiction Adult, Young Adult, and Children’s Books at Martha Clara Vineyards in Riverhead, Long Island, NY.

Admission to the book signing event is free and open to the public. It will feature live entertainment by “Hart & Soul”. Everyone who attends the book fair will be eligible to enter a free drawing for an Amazon Kindle e-Reader, courtesy of the Long Island Authors’ Group.

“Martha Clara Vineyards has been the perfect venue to host our annual book fair. What a great way to spend the afternoon, sipping on wine, meeting new and exciting authors, and relaxing with a really good book,” said LIAG’s president Kerriann Flanagan-Brosky. “Our authors consist of commercially published, small press published and self-published.
